13:21 - an smg would deal the (roughly) same amount of damage as a pistol, and given the fact the pistol is very spammable and fast in this game, it just kinda makes no difference. Smgs are smgs because they shoot a pistol caliber out of usually a larger frame. An smg in a rifle caliber would just be a rifle.
