My Thought's (Tony's Track)

I have stood and watched as butterflies drink nectar through the dew.
Yeah and all my thoughts come flooding back, to happy times with you.
I have marveled as a rainbow shines, majestic through the rain.
And remember once again: the love we shared before the pain.

I believe I'm normal till these thoughts come flooding through.
But I'll never be the same again as i was, when we were two.
I have walked along as crystal waves break softly on the beach.
But the happiness i felt, with you is sadly out of reach.
I have stood amazed, a twinkling star spread wide across the sky.
And I've tried to work out what went wrong: when and where and why.

But I'll never be the same again as i was, when we were two.
I have strolled through meadows filled with flowers and smelled the new mown hay
And i have struggled hard to understand which is why i lost my way.
Yeah i have gazed on winter mornings, and the trees are topped with snow.
But their magic all around won't hide how wrong my life could go.
