You forgot to say why Revenant is a fantastic movie and won so many oscars. 1) It's about climate change. 2) It's about the indigenous population and their struggle to the global warming. 3) Leo excellent performance.4) Director Alejandro amazing screenplay. 5) Tom Hardy excellent performance. These are the reason why Revenant got nominated for so many awards. Like what the general audience feel Leo should have been given award for his performance in Blood Diamond or Aviator. But still this is one of the best of Leo's performance.

The movie is based on how far a human hold its vengeance and keep his spirit to revenge the man who killed his son. The director put tat many horrible scenes as obstacles to his revenge. This movie is beyond your knowledge. For this the director was given oscar and the movie is totally worthy for oscar.

I took a friend of mine to the revenant. He is a cinema fan like all of us but does not see a lot of foreign films. He saw the first shot of the movoe which is nothing but a simple shot of a water stream and said this "Macha, idhey thanniya namma tamil padathula yenda ippudi kaatamaatengaraanga?" Watch this scene and you will know the difference between US and THEM. This movie shud be kind of a technical goal for our kollywood. Yes, it isnt a gripping story, but a treat to watch. I am so disappointed that you have not even mentioned about the cinematography.

Did you read the book The Revenant? The novel which is a fantastic fusion of Micheal Punke's imagination and real life narrative about real-life frontier fur trapper Hugh Glass. Nothing was forcefully added in the film to fetch the maiden Oscar for Leo.

I think the title is perfect. If you reviewed a Hollywood movie you would get all the haters saying your wrong etc. This is your opinion and your sharing it. Personally I don't mind your thoughts but sometime living in India means the context and situational language is harder for you to grasp.
