Honestly, the biggest thing about crusade is how weird it feels to play. Super awkward fallspeeds and stuff. (Although IMO the controls are better than ssf2's because of the ability to actually jump immediately out of your dash). It sucks because either you play crusade with its weird engine, or ssf2 with its 30 fps, which is frankly unacceptable for a fighting game EDIT: Okay, so this update is amazing. The new engine changes actually fix nearly all of my complaints about it. The game still has the problem of weird characters and unfinished moves, but a lot of other characters feel great. Fox and falco may not look great but they play extremely well, cptn falcon feels almost identical to melee with some cool new changes. And a lot of characters actually still look good too. Pikachu for example actually looks better than his ssf2 counterpart. This update actually makes the game as fun as ssf2 for me, provided that you don;t play the stupid unfinished characters like Pheonix wright or gooey. EDIT#2: Seriously, if you ever tried this game and gave it a pass, try it again. Play some of the characters I mentioned, set airdodge type to melee, and set up a controller. Seriously it's great now. EDIT#3: This is the only smash game (including the official games) other than project M where the AI has a genuinely threatening punish game. They'll actually combo you. The AI is still an idiot in neutral, but hey, whatever.

Here is what I think of SSF2 and Crusade, the two popular Smash fan games. I personally like SSF2 better is because of the creative remixes, way better spriting, gameplay, and better online servers. And what I like about Crusade is the gameplay, updated pixel arts (Thank god they revamped them), a variety of characters to choose, and they made some or most of the characters better. SSF2 and Crusade are both unique in their own way just like the official Smash games. But this is just my opinion and thoughts. And just letting you all know, if you want to share your opinions and thoughts below this comment, I'll respect what you think.

I'm pretty sure Falco's reflector includes both Melee and brawl versions, where you can use it as a reflector, or press down b again to use it like brawl and smash 4. You can obviously cancel the second down b with any other button basically.

There's a glaring issue with online play in this game... it's near unusable. I've tried many times with many friends and many methods, and none worked. I think they need an online multiplayer update, because I don't want to have to do the equivalent of a Minecraft server setup just to play a few matches with some friends.. Unless I'm doing something wrong here. Do you have some tips on how to use online? I would really appreciate that if you have figured it out.

only thing i found a glitchy bug on Shantae is her up attack, this happend for me when battling Master Hand and going through the credits (i bet this happens for the others, but i only saw it in them, tell me if it does happen on others). when i used it, i freeze in place and cant move at all till i get Hit.

See when i got crusade i played awhile and then decided to change my controls. I go into the control setup and its lagging, so naturally i hold a random button down cause why not. I looked away and when I looked back I realized that I had set EVERY SINGLE CONTROL to one button. I literally cant even start the game because when I press it on the start screen it takes me right back out. I have to re download.....
