I like them both. The Bentgo is perfect for younger kids who eat less and the Yumbox fits bigger portions. I just ordered a Panino Yumbox because I don't like how you can't fit a sandwich in the regular one

I am looking to replace my yumbox because it cracked at the hinge and for this kind of money I'd expect a discount on a replacement for that. Since the company offered me nothing, they've lost a customer.

Thanks for sharing. I use the bentgo kids for my children's lunches but I will be ordering a yumbox or a bentgo fresh box my second grader very soon.

I really want to get the Bentgo Fresh for my second grader but she doesn't eat all that much. I have a feeling I will be ordering one for me by the end of the year LOL

If the Bentgo Fresh seems to be to much for your light eater go for the smaller Bentgo Kids.

My Bentgo fell off the counter and one of the back latch broke so I think they both have Cons with the fall resistance.

isacahue Absolutely they both have cons. If a Yumbox falls off a counter more than a latch will break. I find with the Bentgo its a little slip resistant compared to the Yumbox. I hope my boxes will last me this school year too 😥 it will be too costly to replace it.

I believe bentgo has a 2 year warranty. I had a snap break on mine and I emailed them. They shipped a new one the next day with proof of purchase.

No I'm in USA. I bought mine on Amazon and they sent me the replacement at no cost. Are you able to order it from Amazon?

Our back hinge broke too, but I don't know how. It came home from school that way. She said she didn't drop it, so who knows. But, it was about 2 and a half years after we bought it, so nothing I could really do. I was disappointed. Now, I'm trying to decide if I buy a new Bentgo or go with Yumbox for next school year. After that experience, I really don't know.

How are you latches on your bentgo after a year and do u think it was enough food I have a 7 year old who eat a little he’s a skinny bone jones 😊 do u think the bentgo will be enough and using the silicone cups help with separating and not mixing or making other food stale

To this day, I will recommend the Bentgo Kids. I never had leaking issues and the latches are still in good condition. The only place where I see some wear is around the silicone bumper on the outside. It held enough food for my kids. I am currently looking at the planetbox lunch containers..

Always would by the yumbox. Bentgo is trash. We haven’t it one year and it was broke. The yumbox fall down and nothing happen here.

If day do finish there lunch and there snack water bottles and there juices and there snack day will bring home left over food from there lunch you need a check her lunch you need to order on line you can throw way in the trash can
