Fun Fact: She Survived World War 2, Earned One Battle Star, and was (Sadly) Scrapped in Belgium, in the 1970's (I think it was 1977 Specifically) Damn its been a while since the last Episode of this Series! Her ability along with the fact that I had used her long enough to get her to level 117 is why I chose her to be a part of my all carrier back line with Enterprise and Ryuuhou in my boss fleet in stage 10 right now. It was initially put together to specifically counter those strings of suicide boats in 10-1 boss node but decided to keep it that way for the time being. The only cost is moving Warspite to the mob fleet.

It was the same in JP, choose your starter, have LI afterwards. It's also funny that you have Kagerou and Shiranui pop up (same artist). Her skin questline was basically the prototype for all the secretary quests. I do wish she got more skins (if Shiranui got one why not LI?) My choice of Ayanami in JP was funny in hindsight (as a number of events reveal that Ayanami and Long Island are friends) But please no bully the momboat, she suffers enough for having a Gun instead of a plane and being seemingly forgotten by Yostar. Also BB AP is more a threat in Events than normal stages

Ranger retrofit has the highest potential damage in the game, not likely to happen...but it could. Long Island can do well and helps other carriers out as well! So she's a great support boat. As for which one...depends on what you are looking for. Support is Long Island's focus whereas DPS is Ranger's focus.
