My Thoughts on Nickelodeon Shows

Today, I'm going to give you my honest thoughts on several Nickelodeon shows from the mid-2010s.

I never watched the Dangerverse but I have been curious about where to start. Pieguyrulz made a surprise positive review of an episode called The Bucket Trap and Matt CMG claims it got consistently good either in seasons 3 or 4. Regardless, the announcement of Danger Force’s cancellation was shocking! Because Nickelodeon has made it very clear for the last several years that they only care about their cashgrab shows and nothing else. As does a lot of other cable networks struggling to compete with streaming. They still have SpongeBob, The Loud House, the expanding spinoffs of both shows, Monster High, Transformers Earthspark, Big Nate, Star Trek Prodigy, Young Dylan (thanks, Tyler Perry!), the Rugrats reboot, The Smurfs and That Girl Lay Lay, which I have a whole long rant against. Basically, if you're not a cash grab, then good luck. RIP to all the shows I watched that weren't cash grabs: Side Hustle, The Astronauts, The Barbarian and The Troll, Warped!, I Am Frankie and Drama Club. There’s also Hunter Street which I have no idea how well the show went because they became less and less available for us US viewers. I’ve actually heard from fans who try to look at The Thundermans without rose colored glasses admit that it wasn't a good show. I only saw three episodes just to stare at how hot Phoebe was and I don't remember anything about them because they were boring. And as of late, there's no video reviews backing the entire show up. And now there's a newer Disney show called The Villains of Valley View that people accuse of being a ripoff of this show. But honestly, I think the Lab Rats creators might've watched it and thought "we should do that! But the complete opposite where they're evil! And with GOOD writing!" Seriously, that show is the closest thing to a decent live action kidcom that hasn't gotten cancelled yet. There's more to it than Thundermans fans say it is. Give it a chance.

I wanna hear your whole long rant against That Girl Lay Lay lol. I also agree that some cable networks are focusing only on cash grabs in order to compete with streaming. It's sad. I do feel like Henry Danger was alright for the first 4 seasons, but season 5 was rough. The Thundermans was okay.

The Thundermans just came out w a movie on Paramount+ it was really good it felt like nothing changed they just got older

The early episodes of HD were really good but the later seasons just got lazy. Still, I tuned in bc I used to have such a huge crush on henry 😭😭
