Great review for this amazing level. Even with the gameplay flaws that Aeon pointed out, it still is one of the best levels especially on the gameplay side considering how forgiving while difficult it is. This level never once made me rage to the point at cursing at it. It never had a part where I felt as though I had to grind for hours at it just to get it down. Plus, it's extremely optimized so it makes playing more smooth. Everyone should play this if they're looking for the best hard demon to beat.

this has to be one of my favorite levels ever, and definitely a contender for one of the best gd levels. this review was spot on. it's a practice-heavy level but it's widely accessible gameplay- and decoration-wise, especially considering all the ldm options sami added.

I recently beat Sedulous about 2-3 days ago, and I must say that this is quite accurate representation to what I experienced. The description of the design is on point, but I feel like aeon didn't cover some inconsistencies I experienced when I played the level. However, if your reading this (whoever you are) take my opinion as a grain of salt. I beat it quite quickly so it may not really apply to others lol Regarding 15%, when you go up in the ship and click the two blue dash orbs, sometimes the slope that you get launched on will just randomly make your cube go up to high and hit the top. Its hard to click early to do so as well, because you may jump off the slope instead of the orb. I found this as a choke point that was really just RNG to do. 27%, when I was first practicing, it was very hard to practice for me. I had to click way early just so my ship would go through. Kinda bugged me, but you'll overcome it when you practice it. 46% cube, I found the transition a bit much for me. After I got past the 4 orbs out of luck I never expected I'd get past. It was kinda hard to get used to it at first. Once you start getting there enough it'll click. 56%, same situation as the 27% ship. Found it a bit irritating when I had to click early. 79% - end. Found it rng for me. I could never get the clicks down when I practiced it, so all I did was spam it when I was a cube. That's my thought of it. But nonetheless, its super fun and I recommend it to anyone with any skill. Its an epic level overall, and it was a great experience for me! :D

15%: don't jump on that slope. the orbs will do the work for you 27%: simply hold from the mini cube. same situation for 56%, just hold before you enter the portal 46%: yeah this one is annoying, hit the first green orb late and you should be safe though

Beat it yesterday night after playing on and off for two months with 4685 attempts. Died at parts at 70% 11 times so that was not fun. The predrop was fine except for the ufo consistency thing after the first flying part. There was also a bug at 15% if you held the ship too late. And that awkward blue orb around 14% was difficult. Everything else after that is basically free by just holding and clicking occasionally and then it’s a ship part to the drop. Normally at the drop you can just hold then spam for three orbs after skipping the orb in the cube portal. But if you hit the trigger then you can no longer just hold through that first bit of the drop. The spam was also a little challenging for me but that’s probably because I’m bad. Then the rest of the first part of the drop is consistent imo. Then the second part of the drop. If you hold after hitting the green orb before the start of the second part of the drop you’ll die ( I’m a 240hz player it might not be the same for you). I would say the second part is very consistent with just a few things to remember. Then the third part. It starts with an orb in an upside down portal then some more orbs before you hold in the ship part for a bit before letting go and spamming until you get to the robot portal. I found this part to be sooooo inconsistent. I genuinely had no idea how to play it, I just made up a click pattern that worked like half of the time. Then there’s more spam after that stuff before you have to have a ufo timing kind of thing. Then there’s a cube part where you jump like twice before going into the fourth part of the drop. For the fourth part of the drop literally just hold and click on the very few orbs there are, it’s basically free. Then the fifth part of the drop. Remember to click the black orb when it starts and then just hold. Then there’s this freaking ufo. Basically blind gameplay. You have to let the ufo drop for a second before doing some random clicks but the camera drops with you so it’s hard to figure out the timings. Then at 69% just click three times really fast for the ball part. Then two blue orbs and hold for the ship. Keep holding until you have to click the black orb and then there’s a mini wave I somehow never died at. Then a ufo part with portals where you have to space out your clicks a little unlike other ufo parts in the level where you just double click. There’s also this one part I want to mention. 76% killed me 7 times because I couldn’t use my brain and hold at the ship there. And then a pretty self explanatory robot. Then you just spam for the last part of the drop. Make sure to hold when you get to the ship portal though and the spam some more. And yeah that’s sedulous. Never playing this level again, gameplay got boring after the 4000th attempt.

the thing about sedulous's dependancy on muscle memory is mainly because the camera angle shifts a frick ton during every part , which makes 37 impossible to sight read. The spam parts are also a little annoying especially because it's in 4x speed and put towards the end of the level and the timed spam at 67 and 69 which pretty much everyone has died to at some point and it's really annoying. Other than that this level is 10/10

I beat this level a couple of weeks ago on mobile (obviously without hardmode lol) after dying at 82% four times (the last percentage you can die without hardmode). This made my experience pretty bad, along with the fact that I was really stressing out because I was staying up late just to beat the level so I could upload it for my channel quickly. This also didn't help my enjoyment factor, so I ended up giving it a 4.5/10 enjoyment or something like that, mostly because of these reasons and not the level. However, I don't really like Sami's gameplay style per se, I dislike all the holding and there are definitely some chokepoints (for example 66-68%). I will say that the gameplay is incredibly satisfying to play tho. Despite all the negative things I just stated about my experience with the level and the level itself, I still admire absolutely how much fricken work Sami put into this, and the deco is stunning beyond belief, especially from the first drop onward. Nothing but mad respect for the man who dedicated so much of his time to getting this project out and obviously it has received the amount of love and "wow"s that it definitely deserves. Oh and awesome video btw lol

Ok , I have a bit of a rant over the ideas behind this level, and the result that it has in its appearance: the basic problem that I want to address is that the level is *so incredibly detailed that mobile phones cannot even properly display all the details* if you're playing on let's say 480p/720p (which is still the most diffused and average definition)... Now this *doesn't mean the level is bad, just inapporporiate because of the status of the game* , being it a mobile application first of all, and now it's *getting denigrated in favor of the PC version* , which is often much clearer and smoother. Now that's exactly what I want to address: *why is the whole mobile experience always getting worse?* It's not even about the level anymore but rather at the *behaviour of the community;* this level feels like a bit *too much* for a native mobile game. Is the community just trying to slowly but steadily *exclude the mobile version* from the experiences and from the fun? Is the game just trying to *get rid of its original form?* I think there's of course a lot to be taking in account, but *I am very contrary about this tendence* or behaviour of the community. Geomtry Dash mobile players and creators *shouldn't and mustn't be denigrated or disrespected, as well as they shouldn't be put in a disadvantage position* by things like this level that really *don't fit the platform* . I feel like *the community is splitting so much lately* and *it's increasingly harder to fit in* when you're a mobile player or creator, *because nobody is noticing you.*

I've beaten this and i think the pre-drop is a little wacky game play wise but still fun and the drop is super flowy and satisfying to play also really fun. I'm not super good so i didn't go for the coin route. Also wanna add that i disagree with Aeons 37% inconsistancy claim maybe its different on pc but, on mobile it flows really well and its actually kind of a challenge to die there. Thats just my opinion though. Levels amazing. Edit: Wanted to add that at 44% i honestly don't know how to play that part its super inconsistent but i found the most success by just spamming Edit #2: The end is deceptive it seems easy but in my opinion its one of the hardest parts. I died at 82% 3 times :(
