I use 300ft of 3/8 flexzilla on a modified hose reel designed for 100ft of 5/8 hose. Super light and easy to use on a roof and gives me good enough distance with a 5gpm pump. Cheap way to get started and definitely needed on larger properties or acreages

We use 5/8 ag hose rated for 600psi and definitely don’t have those problems. We also get more flow and distance than we did with the 1/2”. Fierce jet makes great hose just not that hose. Great videos.

I have 5/8 hydrauli-flex soft jet on my 12v and can’t complain as I don’t use it as much. On next round I’ll probably go with 1/2”. Pressure hose is more important to me as I downstream with a remote. My biggest complaint about 250 feet of 5/8 is how long it takes to clear the line.

I use 1/2 ag hose on my 600 psi ar30. I really miss using 1/2 Flexzilla hose. Those ag hose always curl up on me even with 2 swivels, but with 600 psi I have no choice but to use ag hose. Flexzilla was my favorite.
@housewashing56932 жыл бұрын
How do you like the ar30's output? What gun do you use? I almost converted to that pump
@yanislav162 жыл бұрын
@@housewashing5693 I had comet p40 previous to AR30. Ar30 is much better. The build quality is great, all the plastic parts are really thick and extra pressure is nice. It has a dampening diaphragm which allows you to see when your pump is building up too much pressure. It's a rubber piece that will burst to prevent pump leaks. At 1st I wanted to get AR45, but it seems after awhile they tend to get leaks. On Facebook groups I see a lot of people complaining about that.

I think 1/2 is fine for 12 volt systems. However 5/8 will be a tiny bit better. On gas pumps 5/8 would be my choice.
