Thank you for this deep dive review. I bought a 24’ Street Glide and had to immediately buy a Tall Boy seat, since I’m 6’4”. The Harley Tall Boy seat is much different than the past versions. It is the hardest it’s ever been and barely moved me back at all. I held it next to my 19’ Tall Boy and even my mechanic agreed it was barely different than the stock seat. They were good bout taking back the seat and I found Eli. I ordered the Extended Reach Freedom on the spot. Eli is so nice, I felt comfortable ordering the seat sight unseen. He did say it would take up to 2 months and if I didn’t like it, he would take it back (Corbin was an option for me, but they don’t take seats back). After watching your video, I feel good about my decision. Thank you.

I don't comment often but I sure enjoyed your non biased review and it helped me make up my mind to order the same set up you have. I talked with George at Bad boyz today and hopefully it will get shipped shortly. I also tried a Saddle man and it was not for me at all and the factory CVO seat is killing my back. I am also your build so having the extended version will be fantastic and I agree with your opinion on the solo seat for looks. We have similar set ups on our bikes from the bars to the tunes. My Bad Boyz Freedom extended reach seat replaced my LePera kickflip seat. Needless to say my LePera is collecting dust. My butt and back don’t hurt anymore, thank you Bad Boyz!

I put the BadBoyz Cycle Venom seat on my 22 SGST back in late July and rode 850 miles to Sturgis and back! No breaking required and I love this seat!

I have this seat and love it! I sold my Saddleman road sofa seat because I couldn't get but 40 mins and really started after 30 mins of seat time and I was basically done for the rest of the day, and iv put over 10,000 miles on it and still it was the same way. The bad Boyz seat and bought the exstened reach because I'm 6'4 and it's actually a exstened reach seat. The Saddleman exstened seat doesn't sit you back far enough.. But one thing about the height of the seat you Said he brings you up like an inch, maybe for a stock seat but coming off a Road sofa and a mustang seat it drops you down a inch. Which is perfect for me helped with my wind buffering. And it is a bitch to get on. That's my only fault with it. It weird how hard it is. Can't explain it just trust me . It's the best looking seat out there to me, especially for a solo seat 👍

Great job reviewing this seat, I ordered a Freedom seat and I absolutely love the seat, also as a company Bay Boyze is a "Top notch company to deal with in terms of "Customer satisfaction". Like you, I paid full price for my seat---but fully worth it. Also, I have seen a few "KZbinrs" review their products and you can tell that Bad Boyzs sent them their product at "N/C"-- my belief is that the owner (George), who is a GREAT guy, should be sending their products to guys like "Yourself and guys like me"--we will defiantly do a more sincere review of their products. mine took almost a year I ordered red. 8 months later still no seat they sent a Scorpion out I did not like it sent it back after that they told me they had an orange one ready to go so I took that one glad I did I got 5000 mikes on it and I love it I've had 4 other seats threw out other bikes and this is by far the best one ever, this was in 2022 so we all know the supply issues everyone had. they are really good people they gave me a discount of a few hundred so that was very nice that just don't happen. but I did wait a long time. but I would wait a year again thats how good it is. I got a bad back and I can ride easy 4 hours and more with a little stop never came close to that with other seats not even half that time.. I would tell anyone to buy this seat I've had all the top name seats so From that Experience I can say the Freedom seat is hands down the best one out there/ I got black 2022 road king special so that orange one goes very nice with my bike probably better than red. With Adversary orange floor boards timing cover derby cover orange screaming eagle wires all gone very nice together... Very happy with end result And thats the most important thing..

Very nice informative video Sir. I recently just got the Lepera Kick flip daddy long legs seat for my 2012 Roadglide. I was using the Harley “Tall Boy” seat since i bought the bike in 2012. I didn’t think it was a bad seat but just didn’t sit me back far enough. The Lepera sits me up higher and further back about 2inches. I’m looking for a more touring style seat and this one seems to fit my needs. I was considering the Saddlemen road soda extended reach seat but I’ve heard too many cons about it. I’ve never had a back rest and every one says it’s the best thing since sliced bread. I’m going to get this seat in “extended reach”. Thanks for the video

Agree 100%. I went from a Road Sofa which I hated to a BB Python. The Python is incredibly comfortable and id recommend to to anyone, I also got into it with George on the phone, first about timeline same as you. Dont tell me I’ll have it in a week if you really mean a month! I’d be fine if you told me 4 weeks and it shows up early or even 4 weeks because that’s what you originally said. Second, there was a minor issue with my first seat (which George made right) but like before, all he told me was he’d take care of me with zero timeframe so after a couple weeks I called him and asked what gives and he said he made me a new seat (great customer service) and it’ll ship out in a few days. Fast forward another 2 weeks and no seat lol. I didn’t think it was funny at the time though and he wouldn’t return my texts or calls. He’d answer and say he’ll call back to which he would never do. So I recalled payment with the cc company. Guess who called me the next day! Long story short is the seat feels and looks amazing and I am very happy with it! George did make everything right with me and I realize it’s a small company, but don’t tell me I’ll have it next week on more than one occasion when you really don’t mean it and the only reason I called him more than once was I didn’t receive the seat when I was told I’d have it and not even close.

Yeah I’ve got the same exact seat set up…CC RIDER brand a third the cost EXCELLENT build and quality and top of the line foam…yes mine soaks up water too but it dries really fast as well as no…break…in…period…. It was ready to ride out of the box and I never looked back had it a year now and mine looks identical to the one u have just red stitch

Got my seat today. Black stitching, so maybe why it only took 3 weeks. Haven't ridden it yet of course, but fits and looks great. Got a trip coming up from San Antonio to North Carolina in a couple months. Will give you all an update at the end of June 🙂. By the way, George at Bad Boys was great to deal with. i got a 2010 cvo softail convertible hate cvo seat couldn't ride for more than couple hrs mustang solo seat 12 hrs all day 4-6 hrs at a time then lunch . set up like street glide hoppe fairing hard bags. seen your vid on raod vs street might have to take road for test ride

Stock seats suck in general. I ride a road glide limited. Seat is decent, but i added the breezy Rider seat cover. Makes it much better for distance riding.

I have this seat I'm 6.5 300 lb. I can ride this seat 1 1/2 hrs before tail bone pain but I have tail bone problems have been able to ride this seat longer than anything else I have tried if you want your seat for next year order now takes about 2 months to get pretty sure saddle man makes it for Bad boys and cero save looking seat when I received mine it said buyer Bad boy cycle they might be putting their own cover on saddle man seat another thing you can not get this seat wet at all soaked through you ride rian no good no rain cover on there web site to buy ? If I could do it over but the cero Adam Sandoval seat won't get rain soaked same seat

I know this is 9 mo old. 1st question: what cigar are you partaking in? I have a mustang on my 22 RGS, it was modified by the previous owner who is about 8 inches taller than me. I have tail bone issues on long trips. So I don't know if it is the mustang or the alterations made. Enjoyed the video.

I totally understand and that is what we had words about because I was told 4-6 weeks and 6 weeks came and did not have it. I am glad I stuck it out though as it is miles ahead of other seats and great for my lower back.

When I was ordering mine, I was talking to them at length on the phone and they definitely do not have Saddleman make their seats. It’s all in house, and they are very proud of it. If you have any questions about this, give them a call and ask them. They are super cool to deal with.

Well close anyway and I got 3 components, driver seat, passenger seat and backrest. But yes expensive but so is everything else unfortunately…..that’s the world we live in at the moment. Hell the motorcycles themselves are expensive so why sweat over $800 to $900 for a seat to go on a $28,000 motorcycle? 😏✌️
