MY THOUGHTS ON THE EC DAILY DUO AFTER 30 DAYS |

This is the 2nd year I have used the 7 x 9 Daily Duo. I like to see a weekly view too so I can see a broad view of my week (so I use a weekly vertical also, but it just gets the highlights). The daily gets the nitty gritty, the daily habits, the chores, the weather--all the mundane stuff. I'm the type of gal that needs to see a crossed off to do list to feel like I have accomplished something for the day and the daily duo does that for me.

I went back to EC Daily after a year of trying different planners. I use the time area for journaling throughout the day and use the other for my to-do's. I like having it all in one area. no flipping around in the planner to journal and then check my to-do list. thank you for your review.

I love the daily duo. Its my planner peace. I've used it since the launch. One thing you can do if you want to have the full twelve months is make a flip up board using sticky notes for the dashboard. Put one sticky note over the first month (January) and label the sticky note as July. That way you can have twelve months but on one page. Although I do agree with you. It would be awesome to have the whole year in both books to future plan. I'm not loving the covers this time round. The colors seem strident compared to years past. But I ordered the daily duo today and the monthly planner during the black Friday sale. Happy holidays!! Thanks for the great videos!

I've been using the Daily Duo since it came out and loved it, it's the closest I've ever found to my dream planner. It is an unpopular opinion but I actually love having the small calendar on each day, I use it a lot at work to look at dates instead of flipping to the month view page. The one thing I ish they had was like a single page before each week that was like a week at a glance. That way I could add week-long to-do lists or get a quick glance at what's coming up. Honestly if they added that the daily duo would become my dream planner.

I love the layout of the EC Daily Duo. You are the first person I’ve heard who likes it for the same reason I do: the simplicity of the 2 columns. The other daily planners out there are just too “busy” for me: too many sections, too many options, etc. This layout is simply perfect. I even like the calendar at the top. But for those that don’t, many shops make stickers to cover it up and still make that space usable, Thanks for sharing!

I also got this planner from Amazon the very beginning of Feb because I didn't want to wait for it to ship from EC, but I got it in the a5 size. I ordered the planner on a bit of a whim, because what I had chosen to start the year just wasn't working for me. I had seen you and Hannah both using this planner and was intrigued and decided to give it a try. I immediately fell in love with it, and am surprised how much I enjoy using it every day! Like you, I feel so much more productive using this planner than any other planner that I've tried. I don't know what it is about it, but it just works. I love so many of the same things that you love about it. The subtle pop of color (I actually like the little asterisk 😊) that I can add just Mildliners, washi, or stickers and it looks good either way; the layout (which I wasn't sure I would like, but have come to really like), and how it helps me plan my time and my tasks, etc. It's just a fantastic planner! But, there are things I definitely would change if I could. The first thing is that I would abolish that darn monthly calendar! It takes up valuable real estate that I would much rather use for other things! Ugh! And I wish, wish, wish it had at least a few notes pages in the back, preferable dot grid. I would like to have that space to do things that I usually do in the back of my planner. I really miss it! But watching your video gave me the idea that I could buy an EC a5 notebook and add in the pages in the back myself. Hmmmm. Thanks for a great video!

Love this! It does look great with mildliners and stickers. Just having a new page for each day helps my mindset and keeps me productive. Thank you for sharing this ❤️

I love my daily A5. (I also use the the 7x9 weekly for the monthly too!) I also like the layout and hate that asterisk. I really hope this release will have more options in styles for the daily’s. Also would love if they added a plastic page protector in their planners!!!

Im sooooo hoping for more daily options/customizations with this years launch!! I would love if they added a page protector but Im thinking that wont happen so I always add one in to my plum paper notebook/planner orders 😋

Im using the monthly section of my EC life planner. I got the hourly layout and it's just not working for me. Next year I will get the 7x9 monthly planner because it has a ton of notes pages : ) Im currently using the Ashley shelly daily planner & I think the thing I love the most is having a fresh clean page everyday. Maybe someday I will try the EC daily it is a great layout! Glad it's working for you :)

I dont, Ive shown it on IG but I literally just cut slits in the side where the coil is and you can move them wherever. Fast and easier then uncoiling ❤️

I am using the daily a5 agenda and had the coiled daily duo last year and I totally agree about having the full year at a glance. It is my least favourite thing about the daily planners. Otherwise, I really enjoy having a daily planner. I did miss having a weekly but I now use an Erin Condren dashboard in my daily planner to provide an overview.

I am using the EC daily duo (I started in February sometime) in A5. I love the size but like you, I need more notes pages!!!! If we were in an ideal world it would have more notes pages and then budget pages too.

I love my A5 daily duo. I don’t need too much space so that’s why I didn’t get the 7x9. The only things that I don’t like are the daily calendar on each page and that there is not additional notes pages

What pen do you use to draw your outlines? I love your style. I'm waiting on the A5 size, I needed something functional for work and now I'm trying to figure out how to change the times for a night shift nurse lol

It just depends! I typically just use a zebra sarasa 0.7 or zebra airfit 0.5 but lately Ive been using a pentel energel 0.7! Ive seen ppl use washi to change the times 🙃

And this is why I didn’t order the Daily Duo. I want pops of color all over my spread, page, and planner. And it’s a 6 month planner. And it’s in an hourly format. Right now I don’t need an hourly format; only if I was teaching or tutoring. I love the mini calendar on each page. It helps me out. I don’t cover it up! I’m a long term planner(I’m a teacher by profession for almost 30 years) and this would irk the heck out of me. I looked at it and said “No thank you”!

Thanks for helping me...I took my A5 Coiled Daily Duo and put 1 month of the Self Care journal and 1 month of the Daily Focus Journal behind March 31 then I took enough pages from the Checklist Journal and put it at the beginning of each week with 2 note pages ... then when the month is over I plan to put the clipped pages back in the books I clipped them from...again tysm
