My first Ace was with a Run 1 S-Blend Exodus, which is Infinite's first PDGA-approved disc mold and my first Infinite disc that I purchased. That disc is now retired and displayed on my wall to commemorate my first Ace. Now when I throw Exodus it is with another Run 1 S-Blend of same color and weight. I'm glad I bought two of the same. They only made 800 for the 1st run. I've enjoyed your bag journey and this style of content. Thanks!

what has helped me the most with putting- and it looks like you're doing- is after you fling it out and pop the wrist, you hold the follow through pose, follow through keeping the hand up and out its like a reticle for aiming it helps sooooo much.

Love this style of video. I tend to run these types of "investigative" rounds, very often. Probably every 4 or 5 rounds

The Scepter is so good. It reminds me of my favorite old Innova-made FD3 that I lost years ago. I've tried so many firebirds but I think Infinite got the right mold. I also bag Romans/PDs and Dynasties. I am reacently loving a lot of what Infinite is doing. Lastly, I got a Vela because of one of your videos and I hadn't heard of it before. It is so money. I've been looking for a flat run of the Eagle for years!

I love the Exodus as well. I have 2 in the bag. A metal flake Exodus and an opaque Champ Eagle-L that flies like your Centurion does.

The way you talk about centurion sounds like how I feel about the FD. Personally I love the show stopper color glow run from this year as the are super torque resistant with drift you explain. From what I have read online the run from this year people are saying it’s one of the more special runs in years. Could be cheaper than centurion which I believe shares rim of innova FD and plate leopard3 so makes sense.

Been absolutely loving the series as a whole, and this episode felt comforting to watch a round play out like I play rounds, practice with each disc I'm trying to learn, take putts from each shot, give yourself practice. Really REALLY appreciate your "outsider's" insight on Innova discs. It breaks the pre-conceived notions I have about certain molds, I'm excited to bargain hunt for a nice Toro now. Exodus was my first "Teebird"-like disc and got me my first ace, my go-to 7 speed now. When I started playing this year, I started with gifted discs, mainly Innova, Discmania & Lone Star. I hate paying retail price for any disc so it was near impossible to find decently priced MVP stuff. Growing with Innova gave me those universal reference points "Destroyer clone" "Roc3 stability lol" "Aviar is the only putter that exists" and it was fun to jump into MVP and learn the same way. Flight numbers don't matter and some of my favorite discs are based on hand-feel alone, a "confidence" disc. It's always Envy for me now. Love the content, can't wait for an updated bag, what stays after such an experience! Watching your form convinced me to cut out any walk-up and learn from a stand-still, has made rounds more fun with less to consider and learning to harness my momentum alone, not putting movement into it just yet.

Thanks for the nice comment man. It will definitely be nice to have the Innova references for future disc reviews :), and good luck with your standstill practice until you outgrow it!

@@BlitzDG Always! The Innova reference points will be helpful for some viewers, like me! My jaw dropped when you said "The Roman and the Tesla are the same disc" my head snapped over to my Tesla, it all made sense now. I occasionally bag an Innova PD (10-4-0-3) identical numbers to the Roman so I ASSUMED the Tesla would fly like a Dynasty... Many thanks! :,)

I like the new putt. I putt similar and have a hard time getting it really flat so crosswinds dont affect it too much. And headwinds push it down is the other issue on longer putts.

Wild to me that the Tesla and Roman fly the same. Truly shows flight numbers don’t matter lol.

Another little tip for putting to play around with is to try a slight lead with your elbow … you get a subtle flinging effect on the putt and it adds significant spin. Once you get used to it the putt becomes a super effortless point and shoot all the way back to about 40ft. Gannon Buhr has a video where he talks about this.
@BlitzDG17 күн бұрын
Definitely have watched most of Gannon's stuff. I could never get the hang of the elbow out thing, but Im still working on a bunch of stuff this off season so Ill add it to the list! Now that I think about it, it might be similar to what I'm trying (miserably) to do here!
@jamesh851917 күн бұрын
@ exactly … when you werestalking about it in the video you were doing it to a small degree. It takes some getting used to but I incorporates it into my putt last year and it has been a game changer. Especially for the edge of circle putts that used to feel so hard to get to the basket … they’re now so much easier to

I’m so glad you’re talking about putting cause it’s overlooked as far as scoring goes. I'm currently practicing a technique where I bring the disc in with a curled (supinated) grip towards my pelvis area, keeping my elbow away from my body. As I bring the disc out, I'm focusing on supinating and using a finger pop roll-out, similar to Gannon or Isaac. I don’t always make those C2 putts but now I’m giving it a chance from further distance. I had to lob them before but now it’s putting for me. Great insights into putting!

I also love the centurion. Personally I've found the Halo S Blend and the Metal Flake versions to have similar stabilities out of the box. The Halo S Blends beat in a little faster, but both plastics end up with the same very workable stability that you want in a flippy 7 speed once they've been seasoned a bit. Just mentioning because they run Halo S Blends regularly so they can pretty much always be had for $25, or whatever the going retail number is. 😉

I have been eyeing the Metal Flake versions, but you have me thinking I should grab a S-Blend!
@elusivemoose232511 күн бұрын
@@BlitzDG HALO S blend though. The standard S-blend plastic has a great feel but is much less stable out of the box than the Halo S-Blends. Standard S-Blend would be for easy turnover shots or touchy hyzer flips only. Not going to have the same stability as the metal flake ones you're looking for 🙂

For the putting -- Maybe try leaning forward (and staying forward throughout the putt), making more space for the putter to travel before you let go. It looks like youre kind of popping (your posture) up as you putt. Im not sure if im explaining that well, but, in other words, if youre leaned forward more, when you move your arm at the shoulder your hand creates an arc that is more forward, but when you stand straight up that arc brings your hand up, so you have to release the putter much earlier to actually get it to go towards the basket.

i like wombat3 instead of mako3 have same complaint ring of gators run is perfect if you ever get a chance to throw one, might change your mind tbh its hard to care much about infinite molds though i do bag an emperor and love it exodus (eagle-L) is cool, but i prefer beefy champ run of the regular eagle-x, but want to check this out for less stable slot thx anyway, you cant do an innova challenge and not throw kc rocs and kc aviars, driving with these molds is where it's at also, i throw a similar toro and love it similarly as well. i have pigs for when i have to carve a line. where's the love for the base plastic? i think kc/pro is best for putters/mids
