I'm in the unpopular crowd I guess. I'd rather them just retune the BR I'm not a H5 kid, I came back to Infinite for the BR I stopped playing Infinite and won't be watching this season, just not as interesting.

Interesting in what way? There’s going to be more insane plays than there were with the BR making gameplay much more exciting. Your bias shouldn’t be getting in the way of you enjoying the game for what it is

I come from the halo 1 and 2 days. Didn’t play much after halo 3 until infinite. I was skeptical about the evo but understood the reasoning for the change. Now that I’ve had time to test it out a little I have no issues with it replacing the br in competitive play. Too much upside with skill separation. Nothing quite like being one shot and taking out your opponents full shield haha!

@@FrostyBB to me interesting for the sake of nostalgia. Interesting in the sense that I prefer the more conscious of sight lines and coordinated push type of play. I much preferred the H3 BR that required tracking not just lining up single shot. I'm sure the EVO leaves more room to flex on people with individual skill, but I liked that you were punished more for poor communication. The EVO may create a skill gap among individual players, but I feel the BR created a skill gap between teams with good comms and teams prone to panicking and losing coordination. I thought the pistol fit H5 perfectly with the inate thrust. I feel with the way Infinite moves I prefer the BR play. I agree the BR was a bit out of balance. H3 BR took way more skill than Infinite's, but in my opinion why not tune it better instead of just trying to make Infinite more like H5. But as I said I'm in the unpopular opinion. I like to see Pros have a good audience and you guys certainly put in the time when Infinite's numbers were low so if the change brings more views all power to you. I just won't be watching. Side note, pretty neat that you answer comments and especially huge congrats on that legendary run in the Finals. Having watched for over a decade I will say without question some of the best Halo ever played. (edit poor initial spelling)

@@Aphletic Definitely love the outplay ability that you have with the evo. I am also an OG halo fan and have been playing since CE. But this weapon is a super nice change of pace after 2 years with the BR

Hey man do you recommend using crouch for stafe I honestly think it’s pointless but if you do, should I change my crouch to the left stick to incorporate it ?

Crouch on a paddle is ideal. If you don’t have to click your sticks for anything your controllers will live a much longer and healthier life.

Crouching is very important in strafing depending on range. The closer you are to someone, the more it will work. Need to make sure crouch is on hold to crouch instead of toggle.
