My thoughts on the new Cattle Decapitation album Terrasite

totally agree with you. I love this album! This might just be might favorite as I keep listening. MOH and AE were also my favorites but I keep liking this more and more each listen This band just keeps getting better.

I picked up the CD variant silver on one side. 😂 I sold all my vinyls back in 1991 my collection is all compact discs now and I won’t go back now as my collection is rather large. And I want to retire in the near future. Love the channel…Mike

Cattle Decapitation does no wrong in my book. This one gave me Fear Emptiness And Despair era Napalm Death vibes. Killer per usual.

My first playthrough at work gave me meh vibes but when I came home I listened for the 2nd and 3rd time and found many great moments, my favorite songs are: - We Eat Our Young - Scourge of the Offspring - The Storm Upstairs - Dead End Residents Those above I have on repeat. and love me 2nd part of The Insignificants and "...and the World Will Go On Without You" Overall it's really good and has a bit of different vibe to it than last 3 albums. I definitely hear prog here and there and black metal influences. To me Death Atlas and Monolith of Inhumanity are S tier albums. Anthropocene Extinction is between S and A while this new album I'd rate A tier but that's just my opinion. With each album since Monolith they were just getting better and better but this one feels to me like although it's epic as well it's a bridge to the next album that I hope will blow my mind like previous albums.

Great album. Cattle has been my favorite metal band since 2005. Their only album I dont like much is 'Karma.Bloody.Karma'.

Good stuff. This lp just does it for me. death Atlas was awesome but this ups the ante on every level. There's less cleans and more brutal, the writing and songs are less formulaic like DA. DA by the end feels very much copypasta. It's great but Terrasite smashes it IMO. cheers

Idk where I’d rank this album it’s hard to compare to the last 3 albums but they still got it , god awful cover tho
