Thank you for being the only reviewer I've seen so far not just completely rehash the same "canned takes." I appreciated your input as someone who bought it AND uses it over an extended period. I also appreciate you mentioning that ease of servicing should matter a lot more than people are giving it credit. For such a delicate, new and expensive technology I chose the Pixel Fold over the Oneplus Open simply becsuse I have more trust and faith in the ability to get product support from both my carrier and Google if need be.

In my opinion Google's first attempt with the fold is quite admirable but I can imagine the pain of not having support for hardware issues in certain regions. It's still worth the buy though, looking forward to the second iteration of the pixel fold🔥

Hi, I really liked your video. I am currently looking into a foldable upgrade. I like the Pixel but that $1800 price tag.... but one thing you did talk about and no one else has is the connectivity. This is a phone and for $1800 I want to know that I'll be able to talk with people, video chat, and I can use bluetooth to reliably be able to stream music in my car. Thanks for the input, I'm leaning toward the Razr+. But I am still looking forward to your follow up video on the Fold. Thanks again!

I would caution you against the Razr+ purely from the viewpoint of how dire Motorola are at updating the operating system of their phones. I made this mistake many years ago and vowed to never buy Motorola again. One of the major benefits of Google branded phones is how customers are able to upgrade the OS of their phones as soon as the next version of Android becomes available. Pixel phones are also equipped to cover a wide range of worldwide LTE/5G bands which other phones apart from perhaps Apple and Sony can`t, don`t or won`t match. If you never leave the USA this may not be an issue to you but I travel worldwide.

Thanks for your great and honest video, especially since you bought your own Pixel Fold. I was wondering if you feel that your battery life has improved since the Android 14 update? My Pixel 7 Pro battery life has improved since upgrading to Android 14 and no longer suffers heat issues when charging. I`m thinking of buying a Fold 2 if Google produces one next year so your unbiased review is very valuable to me.
