nahh that’s why its called Sandrock. That’s the main point. Even the fishes are captured from sandfishing. If you Google the map of Alliance of Free Cities, Sandrock is located at a desert biome. It’s the lore. It adds depth to the whole story.

I played so many games but I am sooo obsessed with this one, after 100+ hours in ea I can say that it's definitely in my top 3 games of all time. The time, effort, and dedication the team put in it is amazing, you can feel that the devs love the game as much as the players. Not to mention that the devs always read our feedback and listen to us. I'll forever cherish this game and the studio, I hope that they'll love their future games as much as they love this one

I love this game! Already have 500hrs+ on the early release. I strongly recommend it to anyone that likes the genre! It feels great, the environment and the story are interesting, the pacing is also great, the music is tremendous and amount of customization without a need to backtrack is awesome. Can't fault the game for anything really, so in my eyes it is a solid 10/10. Up there with Stardew Valley for sure. P.s. I would like it to be a bit more speedrun-friendly, tho :)

I have been playing the early access version and can't wait to play on my console after release (still not sure if it will be Xbox or Switch or both though) but that said, my only complaint which some may not agree with is lack of voice acting on the part of the player character. For me sometimes having voiced lines from your character just gives the interactions that much more depth. Other than that it is an overall improvement from MTAP and then some. Keep it up.... maybe with some DLC at a later date because who doesn't love a little expansion from time to time, as long as it's not like certain companies that release dozens of packs for more than they're worth adding up to hundreds extra. 😅

I have hundreds of hours on both and in my opinion overall Sandrock feels much better. The only thing Portia felt better to me is that the environment overall felt warmer and more homely, but that's expected cause Sandrock is harsh desert afterall.

I would hope that they be moving the launch from November to little earlier. But I don't know. Sometimes they are things that need to be added and bugs that need to be fixed. Maybe it just a showcase for things in the future for the game.

Game has been a blast in early access. I'm still very disappointed with the direction of not pursuing story in the multiplayer version, playing in sandbox is not fun after awhile. I was actually intrigued by the story lines of past characters and how/what/when happened.

I know exactly what you mean, and I can say this game runs a lot better than Portia. I remember the awful frame skips in combat and sometimes running around. The game was a rough one, but this dev did a lot of good improvement with the sequel! If you liked Portia, you're going to like Sandrock even more.

I am a PlayStation 4 player. Speaking of which, My Time at Portia has a bug on this console - you can't ride a balloon. An endless black screen is what you get. Anyway, you stated in your description to stay tuned for PlayStation 4, but for how long? A few months? I really want to play this game, but if I want to do it on PC, I need to upgrade it, and it'll cost some coins. But playing on a console is so much more comfortable. Is there at least a tiny clue as to when you can release it on PlayStation 4, @mytimeatsandrock? P.S. By the way, Fang is perfect. I've been through a lot of emotional trauma in my life, and you did great. Fang is a very deep and emotional character, and it's nice to observe that part of a person's life through the prism of a video game. Thank you. Stay true to your core.

This game looked promising but turned out to be the biggest disappointment. The way devs make fun of traumatized and disabled people is awful. There was so much negative feedback during EA but devs decided to ignore. First and last time I backed a Pathea game.
