This sounds like Discovery Ranch, not Turn About Ranch which is where Dr. Phil often sends kids. I went to DR (2015-2016, 15 months). These details are so specific to DR. Cabin numbers, treatment team, bed rest in relation to ED treatment (plate check), carrying mattresses to bed rest cabin, calves program, the privileges for each level are exactly how they were at DR, including protocol times relating to level. My brand on the wall is the one with the umbrella and the little bird on top!

How on earth are these places still open! 😮😡. If you're comfortable sharing , what's your relationship with your parents like now and did they come support you when you became paralyzed? I can picture these troubled teen places to be expensive to send your kids to and it's odd that they'd spend so much money to send the kid they don't want to a harmful environment. It must be so complicated to think about almost the irony of being payed to be sent away. I'm surprised you weren't placed in foster care when your health declined

Did your parents sign you up for this treatment, was it voluntary? Because this seems odd, predatory, and...I was on suicide watch, and I NEVER had anyone watch me shower or in the bathroom or even watch me get dressed.

I've never heard of his ranch, we don't have anything like this in our country. Why did you/others get sent there? Is it for serious mental health issues or seriously bad behavioral issues?
