It's 4 am and I am dying. I have never seen anyone decorate a tree backwards. It tree, lights, ornaments then fill in with ribbons or garlands. The rule of thumb is 100 lights per foot of tree. I run lights up the center of the pole. Then I run lights thru the tree. Then you place the ornaments on. I find ornament hooks better than ribbons. You just put a smile on my face. 😂😂😂😂😂

Doesn't matter if it's not "perfect", you wanted to try something different. Love the black branches with the silver and gold! Got an edgy look to it! Think lights generally go on first, though. Most importantly you are having fun with your creation! I like it!

Anthony, for the past three years, I pack up my tree, and decorations, and tell my grandson to safely put everything in the garage, when Christmas comes, he say he doesn't see it, so I buy a new tree and decorations! This year I was in the hospital from September 27th to December 4th, I told him, "Please get the Christmas decorations, once again, he didn't see it,this i wet to Dollar Tree, I brought 2 premature trees and I much love say, my house looks beautiful and festive and so does yours !🙏🏽👍🏼🎄🎅🏾🤶🏽❤️

We always let our children decorate the holiday tree. No matter how it looked it was always beautiful and Christmas was wonderful. Just enjoy the fun of decorating the tree. This reminded me of my babies tree decorating. Happy Holidays. This was a learning experience. You will be better next year.

Start from the bottom of the tree with the garland or ribbon and take it around until you get to the top before you cut the ribbon. Just go shopping next year for your tree. Better luck next year 🎄

Hey Anthony! You really worked hard on that tree and it came out ok but next year can I suggest; to fluff your tree in sections by rotating it, get a miniature pre lit( lights are wired to the branches) tree and to make it easier to decorate get some miniature ornaments, a star and ribbons. Also that white fluffy thing is a skirt. It's used to cover the legs of the tree by wrapping it around it. Next year will be better!😊
