Thanks for your list..1967 was an incredible year for music. I had Leonard Cohen, The Doors and Love in my list too. FWIW I also had Jimi Hendrix (x2), Velvet Underground and Nico, The Kinks, Otis Redding and Carla Thomas, Buffalo Springfield and Jefferson Airplane.

Thanks Clem-I would also have had Hendrix and Velvet Underground in my list, but I only have those 1967 albums on CD, so I didn't include them. Thanks for taking the time to comment

I wasn't even a twinkle in my Dad's eye in 1967. In fact I don't think he had even met my Mother by then. However, I have that Four Tops LP. Soul is something that I've begun to appreciate more since I've been making videos on YT. There is a chap in Birmingham (6inchpianist319) who spoke about how the Temptations succeeded where the Four Tops didn't because they evolved to move with the psychedelia scene of the late 60s. It's an interesting point I think. How is that for synchronicity! I first saw that Bee Gees first album shown over the weekend by another UK KZbinr up in the North East (Baggy Hi-Fi). It was the first time I'd ever seen it before. He described it as "a baroque pop" album comparable with Sgt. Peppers... It's not too expensive to get hold of so I've pledged to get a copy when I next get paid. Ella Fitzgerald, love her voice. She helped me get into Jazz. Donovan, superb. He's made so many great records. Oh, and Scott Walker, I learned in recent years how he was a big inspiration for David Bowie. I'm slowly picking up Walker Brothers albums as and when they appear in the wild. I don't have that on by Scott though but you make it sound very interesting. I show a compilation by them in my most recent video about vinyl finds from the 1960s found this summer. Don't know much about the Doors. I miss the sound of guitar from their music. I'll get past that one day. I've not heard your number 1 record either. I should look into it... too many records, not enough hours in the day. Great set of albums. Cheers

Thanks for your kind comment Tomasz- my son and his girlfriend are just back from a long weekend in Kracow, which they thoroughly enjoyed. They commented on how beautiful and friendly it was. I've never had the pleasure to visit Poland, and probably won't ever get the opportunity. Anyway, thanks again for taking the time to watch the the video

I must have missed this. I must admit I like the Disco years more than the early Bee Gees. Scott Walker is an artist I became aware of from watching Brits VC videos. I was thinking we had nothing in common until you showed Pink Floyd.

What a nice list! I have a "relation to" 8 of the artist in your top ten. Pink Floyd and Love is not my favourite's. Nice to see that Scott 1 LP. I will immediately play my CD. 👍
