My Top 10 best looking Video Nasties on 4K

I was asked by my very good friend John from Mondo Chelloveck Movies if I would do my top 10 BEST LOOKING Video Nasties on 4K - these are best looking picture NOT in order if my favourite films. I think John is curious to see if we differ much so I've deliberately not watched his yet. I had such a good time doing this one, enjoy 🙂

Cat O Nine Tales has been out on 4K for ages. Arrow even did an Arte Original issue. Good list. Think Texas and Tenebrae were supposed to be your 2 honorary mentions, but then you put it at 10 ( hence, the Romero Dead films out of sync) Fulci’s Zombie is definitely most improved, for me. Blue Underground did an amazing job.

Great picks, Hell of the living dead does look stunning on 4K, I've owned it on every release , the pre-cert was cut by 20 minutes, you should look at 88 films release of Burial Ground, that would have made the list had it been put out when it was supposed to, tell me, where did you ever get that tasty cover thingy on your Night of the living dead? Well ..... Funny you should ask, if True Lies wasxa nasty it would be very high in the list. It's an amazing transfer and it's very reasonably priced #reasonablypriced #truestory

Hi Nige, great video again mate. Regarding the upcoming Anthro & Absurd 4K’s, well if you want the limited nasty slips, you’ll have to order directly from 88 films and they’re only doing 1000 of each.

@@rockgod2004 Yes, have to say, I fell in love with the film when I first saw the video in the 80s. Then, over the decades, widescreen & stereo, then DVD & 5.1 surround sound, bluray & finally, 4K with original 4 channel surround or Atmos! This film just keeps giving! 😄

Hi Nigel, GREAT video, super informative as always, good to hear your thoughts on "The Texas chain saw massacre" one of the releases last year which i was late on getting that collectors edition, i do have "Tenebre" & that edition, you know my thoughts on "Zombie flesh eaters" always a bit overrated for me but i don"t doubt that Blue Underground won"t have done a bad job on the transfer & they"re a fantastic company in presenting cult movies for fans to watch in their highest quality. Yes Nigel the best Evil Dead movie ! I love that it still contains some grain as we watched back in the 80"s, & that edition was pre ordered on day 1, love the movie. "The Funhouse" i can honestly say is one that"s passed me by but know about, & i do like Tobe Hooper"s movies, jusr re-watched the trailer. Interesting as always Mr RockGod 👍👍👍👍👍

Not seen any of the ‘Dead’ trilogy from George A. Romero; great to hear the ‘Night Of The Living Dead’ 4K looks crystal sharp 👌 I absolutely loved ‘Suspiria’ when I first watched it for the first time last year Nige 🤩 Evil Dead looked excellent on 4K and given its very low budget; it really shines through with that transfer indeedy 👌 If I can hold off the 4K of ‘The Funhouse’ I would as you been singing its praises with the transfer mate; got it on Arrow; had such a good time when I first watched it back in October 😀 ‘Tenebrae’ is fantastic; ‘The Cat O’ Nine Lives’ got 4K Arrow boxset; I got the standard Blu-Ray Arrow boxset with the artwork on the box ❤ Need to get more into Argento’s films definitely Nige; fantastic video mate 😀🍿🙌🎸🎶

Sorry to hear about your issue with Night Of The Living Dead, I had a similar issue with Amazon France and all I did was show them a copy of the proof of postage they provide me with the refund, little tip if this happens again. Some quality titles by the way!

@@rockgod2004 Google images for Mathilda May Lifeforce, it'll be in your basket within 5 seconds. "The Funhouse" was the original title for "Last House on Dead End Street" which is why they accidentally banned it. Check it out, it's very grimy (although currently only available on DVD).
