i haven't watched one of your videos in a while, but it sure was a delightful experience hearing you delve back into your favorite games and sharing that wonder in this video. i might not agree with everything on this list, nor have played it, but i love hearing passionate people talk about what they hold dear to their hearts in the digital world. i've also been taken back by the unique, and lovable atmosphere of the splatoon world. its multiplayer has always been super fun, and i may have burned myself out on it in 3. the story mode was incredible and i feel like people don't talk about the platforming in splatoon enough, it's simple, but so very fun. from the chilly, melancholic atmosphere created by the hub world music, and environment. to the brisk levels, with wacky music and intense moments. it was an experience i look back on often and cherish. you also sold me on final fantasy, i was never really interested in rpg games other than a select few, but playing it now seems a little more likely to happen. i also love bayonetta, i originally played it because i loved the over-the-top action, gameplay, and sheer awesomeness of metal gear rising revengeance. but i haven't finished bayonetta unfortunately. it's something i'd like to go back to but lack that driving force to make it happen. i'll share my top ten since you asked! 1.omori 2. pikmin 1 3. celeste 4. metal gear rising revengeance 5. doki doki literature club 6. milk outside a bag of milk outside a bag of milk 7. splatoon 3 8. gang beasts 9. risk of rain 2 10. super monkey ball 2 omori is an extremely charming game, with my favorite ost and art style ever. the feelings displayed in this game are immensely infectious, and utterly beautiful. the story is amazing, and the simple rpg system is super fun and honestly made me stop turning away from rpgs entirely. i have never been so glued to a game in such a long time. in an era where i could barely spend an hour playing video games, i would spend hours just taking in the music, characters, emotions, story, vibes, aesthetics, and just everything because it was all so impactful. it's so important to me and i probably would be a completely different person without it, i still take comfort in it to this day., it was such an impactful game in terms of enjoyment, perspective, and the way i view the world. it's a game that's really hard to talk about because of spoilers, but i do hope my love for it may push you to play it. such a great game. pikmin's gameplay is so refreshing and unique that i was hooked instantly, such a cool concept done perfectly and easily accessible to just pick up and play despite finishing it like five times. knowing what you missed or could've done is never frustrating, but more so inspiring to just try again and see what you can do on another run. it might not have been as impactful as omori, but its gameplay rivals omori in so many ways. and i'll always remember looking forward to playing it every night, and being so focused on it alone, just me and the game. it was truly amazing and i love it for that. celeste was one of the first games to ever make me contemplate and just reflect on my life after playing. the insides and outs of madeline's character and her mental and physical journey to reach the peak of the mountain has always been special to me. i feel for her, and the issues she had to face internally. it really taught me to look inside myself occasionally and scrutinize myself to make sure everything's alright. now onto the gameplay, MAN is it amazing. mario supplemented my love for platformers as a kid, and as i grew older i always searched for some kind of thrill, some kind of challenge. and the game absolutely delivered with its incredibly engaging platforming, and fun, challenging levels. this was the game where i started putting a lot of importance on immersion because i loved disconnecting from reality and really embracing what was right in front of me. is it weird to say that i even took my shirt off when i played it every night so i'd feel cold like i was really madeline? anyway, it will always be my favorite platformer, and i don't think that'll ever change. it's a game that wraps up my top three and it's one where i've wanted to actually 100% it. metal gear rising revengeance action was like no other, it was so extreme and over-the-top and it was amazing seeing that in a game for the first time. the characters were so cool, and the bosses were just awesome in every way. the cinematography was great, and the dialogue might seem a little cheesy but i've always loved it for its easily memeable and memorable lines. the characters are amusing, and the boss fights that contain those characters are stunning. the final boss has remained as my favorite boss fight ever for a while now because of how hectic and magnificent it really was. it's a hack-n-slash adventure that i feel like anyone can appreciate if you enjoy that same thrill as me. i went into doki doki literature club knowing what major moments were going to happen but it still impacted me greatly despite that hindrance in my personal experience. getting to know the girls little by little everyday was refreshing for me, it was cozy and honestly comforting. it was warm, and cute. planning for the festival, taking my own route with my favorite character, and making poems by picking your favorite words and connecting with a specific girl because of that was amazing. i was so enticed by learning more about them, and seeing their core unravel made me lose myself in the first half, despite knowing a little about what lies ahead. it was so consolatory because i've never felt love like that in real life so experiencing the imitation was quite fulfilling for me, and i know saying that kinda makes me seem like a loser but i swear the cuteness and warmth of the first half isn't the only thing i like about this game. as i made it to second half and witnessed the change in direction, i was dazed and dejected as to what just took place. that surrealness was spectacular, and the unhinged and hysteric change of my favorite character was amazingly written and downright shocking. it was a game that offered a plethora of feelings, and the deception of the pretty front was perfect. i would highly recommend it to people who enjoy visual novels. this message is dragging on a little so i'll tackle the other games quicky because this might be a little tiring to read, sorry about that. milk outside a bag of milk outside a bag of milk was a strange, and euphoric experience to say the least. the depressing character you speak with throughout the game creates a personal, and melancholic vibe i'm really fond of. i've always suspected the creator haven taken inspiration from serial experiments lain because of it's weird, disconnected reality. the monochromatic art style also amplifies that melancholy that's ever so significant to your experience, and i'll always cherish listening to the character's thoughts and complexing worldview. it's a saddening game that makes me reflect on a lot and those vibes are super interesting to me. i've already talked about splatoon 3 so i'll skip over this one gang beasts is such a wacky, and silly game that i can play whenever and just have fun. it's a party game that rewards skill, but doesn't takeaway from the casual aspect of it all, it's super charming and it's one of the games i've spent the most hours in. over 350 i believe. a friend recommended me risk of rain 2 and i fell in love with it instantly, i don't play many roguelikes so experiencing it for the first time with an amazing game like risk of rain 2 was absolutely bliss. it's so expansive and creates a wonderful world with its many environments. the music really makes me feel like i'm on my own journey, surviving in these gigantic worlds that have great aesthetics. and of course, the gameplay is amazing. super monkey ball 2 is super unique, and it was the first gamecube game i ever played i think. those levels are pretty nostalgic for me, and beating it was kind of surreal. great memories (i'm kind of tired of writing this if you can't tell) i loved the video man, and i know this comment so so so long, but i hope you enjoyed reading it. have a nice day!

Wow, I don't know where to begin. Thank you for such kind words. I really appreciate the feedback on the video both how it made you feel and the quality of it overall. And for your games, I also greatly enjoyed hearing about your list. I loved to see the Pikmin on there and I definitely agreed with those and your Splatoon points. The game I'm probably the most curious about from your list is Omori. I'm not the biggest RPG fan admittedly, but the art style of that game from what I see on the eshop has always had my interest, so perhaps this comment might be what gets me to try it! Gang Beasts is another game I've wanted to try, just haven't been able to. Again thank you for the nice words, and for sharing your list as well! Hopefully you'll be back for more :)
