Having a look through the 120 or so rock guitar riffs of the 70s that I've learned and played over the past year or so, and narrowed them down to a top ten list of favorites. One from each year.

With ya almost 100% of my fave same guitar players, songs and bands in my 55 years of playing. I will throw into the rabbit hole that Can't You Hear My Knockin' is indeed played by Keith in standard tuning, and not his usual Open G with high E string removed. A hard list to make when we got a million songs in our head over the decades, and just as many we forgot ha. Cheers man. LOVE your channel!

Damn solid choices. I think my favorite overall period for guitar music was the early 70s. Like you I was a fan of the heavier stuff at the time, but now what sends me running to grab a guitar is that early 70s grooving rock and roll hillbilly blues boogie.

KDA…I get into arguments quite a lot about chasing “tone”…I think your ability to “match” the tone of the songs you’re performing is brilliant and gets left unnoticed….but I notice…always incredibly done…rock on my man😎
