I had promised myself a Glamlite palette or two as a Christmas present to myself, bit then international shipping was more than the full total of my order 😱 So now I'm going back and forth between an order to Oden's Eye or to Lethal Cosmetics instead 🧐

It’s so ridiculous that they (Glamlite) have a practically $40 flat rate for world wide shipping, like... WHAT?! I mean, Oden’s Eye offers free shipping to most countries after a certain amount, and even their shipping rates are actually affordable, on top of being fully tracked, with Lethal their shipping is also really cheap and though they do have pricier options, the cheapest one is actually reliable. Hell, even brands that have like a $20 shipping rate are reasonable compared to the ridiculousness at Glamlite.

@@MrLadyMaroles honestly, I probably would have paid the $40 shipping, but it was $69.00!! I had added two palettes and an eyeshadow primer to the cart, so I tried taking stuff out and the only thing I could keep ad get shipping down to $40 was the primer and no palettes 😂 I was like "well this is a heck no from me". Especially with what Angie has said before that they don't even seem to pack International orders until after they pack the national orders.. I'll just wait until I visit the US and order it then..✋️

I got one of their mystery boxes earlier in the year and was impressed with most things. I got the Alva palette and tulipa kiss lipstick. I find I get a lot of fallout from the palette but I love the lipstick.

The sale just ended and I'm literally so relieved. I didn't buy anything! Despite all the temptation! I have their 3 collab palettes and their Freja brushes and I just DIDN'T need more eyeshadow. I knew that if I started putting a couple of blushes or something in my cart, I'd end up stacking products to get to free shipping, and I just didn't want to spend that money on makeup I don't need. But this weekend was TORTURE. Finally it's over.

I can relate to this so much! I wanted one Alva palette, but I already own too many eyeshadows! It took all my self restraint but didn't buy anything! Will try this brand for sure in the future, but for now I am sticking to my low buy plans😎

But I guess I'd rather pay full price than to be "coerced" into getting a bunch of products before I'm ready to add more to my collection.
