It might be my favorite! The series is great in general, but 2 is just so good. It's either 2 or 4 for me.

@@retroreviews_ I agree! Very underrated. You don't hear much talked about it in favor of 3, but 2 was my favorite.

I logged a ton of time on original Game Boy, and the ones I played most were definitely Metroid II and Link’s Awakening but also Radar Mission, Pipe Dream, TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan, Solomon’s Club, DuckTales, Kid Icarus, and Ren & Stimpy Space Cadets. A super cool obscure one I wanna check out is called Great Greed!

@@retroreviews_of the aforementioned, I believe you’ll get the most out of Kid Icarus. I find its NES version obnoxious, but the Game Boy version is a lot better for some reason. Such a good Metroid-like game. I actually beat it as a kid, but it takes patience (and you BETTER dodge the eggplant wizard…) 😂

Links awakening it’s a a master pice, music, game play character design. The best part it’s the ending. It was a dream and epic dream.

100% agree. Such an incredible experience from start to finish. I think it definitely does the "it was all a dream" ending better than any other game.

donkey kong, Kirby's dream land, super Mario land 2, are my top 3. im also partial to the megaman games for being almost entirely different to their nes counterparts

Never tried it! I only remember seeing the box art for it. What kind of game is it?

@@retroreviews_ well there's the one for the game boy advanced and one for the Gameboy. I only played the one for the advanced, but the Gameboy looks really good. Much like Kirby 1 vs 2 The one for the advanced is where you play a as a hamster with your girlfriend hooking up other hamsters. Trust me on this, it's great. Try it sometime if you get the chance, you won't regret it
