Saito Soma def is someone who is close to the vibe that aoi shouta has... he's really pretty feminine-wise and even without dolling himself up. He just looks cuddly. Kaji Yuki, too, esp. when he's modeling (his photobooks are worth buying, i swear). And Uchida Yuma is the same vibe as Masuda tbh, real handsome and idol-like at most. But yeah, Umechan and TsudaKen are on an entirely DIFFERENT league.

Enoki Juuya is indeed one handsome lad. Like he resembles Yuji so much. When I watched his interview as a seiyuu of Yuji I felt like real Yuji was talking. Not to mention I also like the tone of his voice like his voice is easily recognisable. You have no idea how much happy to hear his voice at the end of first season of Tokyo Revenger as Inupi. I also love the look of Eguchi and Uchuyama kouki.

Umehara Yuichiro is a must in this list. He's is extremely handsome and so talented. He has a million dollars valuable voice. He could pass as actor or idol but I'm glad he's a seiyuu and a now musical career with his band, they have so many bangers.

I have an intenseeeeee crush on Uchiyama Kouki LOL! The way Ucchi acts cold towards everyone yet still has a soft side always gets me! It's the tsundere/dere dere for me 🥺💖 Besides Uchiyama Kouki, I also agree with you on Umehara & Enoki Junya. I wanted to add that I also like Suzuki Ryouta as well (Ishigami Yu's seiyuu of "Love Is War"); besides his voice, his visuals gravitates me over him 😳

I seriously laughed out loud when you said Kenn is aging backwards, because I completely agree... I'm about his age and he seriously just keeps looking better and better. I agree with most of your picks! I think TsudaKen is so ruggedly handsome, and your take on Shoutan is spot-on - Shoutan might be one of the most beautiful humans on the entire planet. To answer one of your questions, I don't think a "good visual" is key, because we see them in so many settings that personality shines through. I fell in love with a lot of these guys because of their shining personalities. While he's not *my* personal favorite, I think Matsuoka Yoshitsugu is a good example - he's not classically good-looking, is shy and keeps his bangs in his eyes, but he is loved by a ton of fans and gets a lot of lead roles. My top 10 would be (also in no particular order): TsudaKen, Kenn, Shouta Aoi, Taniyama Kishow, Maeno Tomoaki, Eguchi Takuya, Suwabe Jun'ichi, EnoJun, Nobunaga Shimazaki, and Suzumura Kenichi. Not all classic Ikemen, but there are some that draw me in for some reason I can't pinpoint, like Maeno-kun.

This is a great list! For me, I think Takeuchi Shunsuke, Toki Shunichi and Uchida Yuuma also have great visuals! And Sato Takuya's smiles always make me smile, I love it so much! 💕 I think Komada Wataru also has good visuals~

i'm with you in this one. ume-chan, tsudaken, and massun are definitely up there in my list! my top 10 would be (not in particular order): ume-chan, ito kento, tsudaken, daiki hamano (i just think he's very cute lmao), massun, shogo sakata, enojun, yuuma uchida, ryo kitamura (does he count as seiyuu?), and eguchi takuya. also honorable mentions: shugo nakamura and suzuki ryota. i've just started stanning aoppella recently and i began to pay attention to shugo nakamura through this project and i was like, where have i been!! anyway there are tons of good looking seiyuu that i can't mention one by one 'cause my brain stopped working the moment i typed this 😭

I'm always getting shy when seeing his smile lol. Honorable mention (from my opinion) i like Shimazaki Nobunaga and Uchida Yuuma too..

Im a huge fan of Kajiwara Gakuto personally tho ik this video is older and i feel he’s a newer VA who’s just now getting more bigger roles. But I just need to gush about how pretty his singing voice is (his solo work, hiiro amagi enstars, haruka argonav, hallritt fragmem), and he’s so cute and his performances have a lot of charm. But also, I’m a big fan of Masuda Toshiki as well so this is a very great list lol

Kuma-chan for me is truly the epitome of “ikemen”. Not only looks but the way he carries himself, and idk if its staged but in the way he talks he really carefully speaks his words one by one, in a such delicate manner. I listen to drama cd a lot and only by listening to his normal speaking voice in commentary section, i could already tell he is actually attractive in real life. And physically speaking, he certainly is. I also like yashiro taku, he sounds so down to earth. I hope he realize that girls love brown chocolate bar better than the white ones ;) Talking about looks, nakazawa masatomo is also pretty cute. People often say that he looks like hoshino gen. Personally i like yamashita seiichirou. Yamase kinda looks like lee min ho in his ai rendered pics AHAHAHAHA. For trendy looks id pick : komada wataru, suzuki ryouta, takeuchi shunsuke, ishige shoya, Ishikawa kaito, yano shougo, etc. Lastly please watch my man azakami yohei, truly wishing him success Seiyuu just need some good styling because when they do find a good fitting to their physique, they are all literally able to pull it off. But again they are actors by voice, not visual. Even myself i rarely check on how a seiyuu looks unless i got attracted to their voice hehe. Brb reminiscing my time during kenn and mamo golden ikemen seiyuu era (young sugita was also really hot lel)

Ume-chan is my no.1 seiyuu not only because his look but also his personality and acting talent. I've been attached to him from his newcomer days and followed his development from shy awkward boy to fine calm adult. I can agree with you about Yashiro Taku, despite his insecurity in his skin tone, I find him quite attractive and talented too! His voice range is amazing, sometimes I can't even tell whether he voices character since he takes different roles from ikebo to low voiced character. As for Kumagai Kentaro, as though he's not very noticeable, personally I like how soothing his low voice is. It's in another sense than Ume-chan's. Keeping that aside, I don't think we can only value them of their appearance. Some older seiyuus also mentioned that Egu's era are filled with attractive seiyuu which crossed the border (I guess they meant wherein their face is selling point too besides their acting and voice. In the past, seiyuu worked basically on voice acting). I have many seiyuu in mind who aren't engaging very actively in entertainment and modelling area but I really love their acting and voice esp in singing. Having many singers group in various genres amazed me more on how awesome they are. Who could manage to sing nicely while they're in their perspective roles? (whereas sometimes in different group they need to sing different voice range and genre). Only seiyuu could, imo. 😍

Omg I'm glad someone else also appreciates Takkun's smile~ also I agree w/ u abt the skintone jokes.. I personally think his natural tanned just adds to his visuals like- have u seen him on spicy photobooks HE LOOKS FRICKING HOT AF- 😂 I swear I'm not a simp lol. IMO visuals does help a bit in seiyuu popularity but I think it's more abt the personality they showcase in public that garners attention (aside from voice acting skills bcs they all have that anyway lol). In my case, I like Taku bcs he has such a fun personality and amazing voice range also his monomane skills lmaoo Our list is also pretty similar but I would add Suzuki Ryouta and TakeP in my list.

Yoww I never expected Kuma-chan in this list but He's one of my seiyuu crushes visual-wise. For me he's such a cutie-patootie to me that's why he attracts me. Honorable mentions in my mind are Shunsuke Takeuchi (my favorite bad boy visual), Kensho Ono (he's really blooming nowadays) and my ultimate oshiis Yuuma Uchida and Mamoru Miyano which needs no explanation hehe..

Besides Umehara and the others, right now I'm very interested with Kumagai Kentarou. Strangely, I know him when he joined the project on drama cd R18 and BL 🤭. Trust me, his acting skill really looks better than in the anime. In the anime, i know him from "The God of High School". Right now he might still be relatively new, but I hope in the future he gets a lot of roles. The moment i saw his visuals, I fell in love with him even more. He is very attractive. The other one was handsome, but he had his own charm ❤❤

Shimono Hiro, Sakurai Takahiro, Suzuki Tatsuhisa, and Okamoto Nobuhiko are the ones on my list that you are missing but good on you for Eguchi and Tsudaken. I also believe that talent should win over looks. I hate that Sakurai's old agency told him he was ugly unless he wore glasses. That can't have been good for his self-esteem.😞

this is my list based on my taste, so.... I think talent is important but looks also would boost seiyuu's popularity, giving them chance to be on magazines etc. sakurai is average imo but yeah, again just my taste (he's an awful person tho so I could nvr see him in a positive light anymore)

@@konpeisubs Yes I heard everything that happened and it is sad. I guess in America I am used to people being separated from private life to what they do for a living with their talent.🤔 I mean real talent to not cause they are rich. 😮‍💨 To be a bit fair though here our rules aren't as strict when you get famous with real talent. We just expect you to have common sense...that doesn't always work either though. 😅

I don't care bout their private lives too (for ex, if they're actually married. or is living together w a partner. or their sexuality) but things like two timing to the point it greatly affected someone's life negatively..that's a big no. yes I can differentiate them from their characters and I can still watch an anime w em. but I'd def avoid checking out their interviews and sub anything related to them. respect is lost tbh.

Living in America and being an older anime fan, I don't have any friends who are into seiyuu culture like I am so it is really nice to talk to someone who has the same interests. 🤗 I post seiyuu tid bits that I think are cool on my Anilist, but no one ever says much of anything about them. Used to do the same on IG but it got too toxic. 😖 Thank you once again for answering my comment. ☺
