I think if you push the birds into the water, it restarts their AI as they are not supposed to be in the water, and they work again, so that's a shame about the red ptarmigan

Shoot lots and lots of animals. Hundreds and thousands. This guy has probably over 25,000 total harvests. I’ve been playing since the game came out and don’t even have 5,000…and I grind in my own way I don’t just walk around and shoot what I see
