I’m 5 hours from Dallas card show . I go down stay with family and buy cards. It’s fun I’m just out a couple tanks of gas. I just can’t rationalize the National . Between hotel flights admission transportation food. Easily $1500-$2000 before you even buy cards

CC2 , This will be my first national with my 14 year old son. We don’t have a ton of highly valuable cards. Would it be a waste to bring base and inserts of superstars and greats pre covid years? For example a stack of Tom Brady cards $2-$10 cards. Would dealers take this for credit towards a sell at their booths?

Honestly, my best advice would be to sell on eBay or some thing if you have a parent that will help you. Dealers aren’t going to pay much for that stuff . You’d be lucky to get half of whatever you think it’s worth

Topps does not host a VIP party at the National. I think it would be awesome if the Transcendent VIP party was at the National when it is not at an MLB stadium. This year it is Aug 12th at Camden Yard. To be honest, having the parties at MLB stadiums is better than at the National. 2019 was at Chase Field and we got to view the Kendrick collection. 2020 was at Reading Terminal and would have been better at the National. BTW: it was nice meeting you guys at the Xenia show.
