To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. kzbin.infoUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

The LG antibacterial killing feature really works. I've watched lab tests where it completely killed any and all bacteria. I used to think it was a gimmick but not true
@jeffmenace913 жыл бұрын
Nah definitely not a gimmick. I have a something I bought off Amazon that is used for that purpose but it's large enough to put all your electronics in there. So I can put my phone, Switch, gaming console controllers and then you just press the power button and you can see from UV light from the outside going to work.

I just got these. I think the best feature is the Bluetooth transmitter on the case. Not sure if MSRP of $199 justifies that, but definitely my favorite feature. Wish it had aptx, but the tuning is still pretty good.

Really nice pair of earphones, controls are pretty good and can be changed based on preference, even disabled. The XM4's using only a 6mm driver made me appreciate them even more. Didn't think they would be THAT good after hearing how small the driver is, but wow! It's impressive how much detail Sony pulled from a driver so small. To me they sound twice their size after eq. I have the Liberty 3 pro's, really awesome sound as well. The Sony's though can come to a same level of sound to the Liberty 3's. It has The XM4's impressing me more. I might return the Soundcores.

I've noticed both of these bring out so much detail out of the driver's and volume. Especially the second one, the second one makes these sound like 12mm drivers! I have 12 mm iems and the xm4's match them easy! Other than that I really enjoy the stock Excited preset on the wf/wh series, nice eq. If you try mine out lmk what u think !

I personally think the Liberty 3 Pro are an amazing earbud. I have the Sony Wf 1000 XM4 ,which i will be returning for a refund.Im using the liberty 3 Pro now and they are phenomenal.The bass the clarity the fit and comfort kill the Sony's,even the ANC is great and I personally think overall the Liberty 3 Pro are the winners here out of the 2 I mentioned.Can not comment on the others,as I've not experienced them. I have Samsung plus and Live and XM4 and Liberty 3 Pro and the Liberty are the winners for me in every way.The app is amazing and offers so many EQ frequencies and sound modes compared to Sony's app. I thought the liberty 3 Pro stuck out to much but the Sony's are just as bad to be honest. I've been comparing the Sony's and Liberty for a few days now and the liberty win for sure.

@@ijbeats Hi,sorry for the late reply.To be honest the transparency/ambient is fairly good on these but I've decided to send back as I've experienced other issues with them and have now ordered the Samsung galaxy buds pro,which will arrive tomorrow and other earbud tips. The Liberty are great but they would cut out for a second or two and sometimes when placed back in the case,they wouldn't disconnect,the case is very slippery. I also found myself readjusting them all the time,tried all the different tips and fins but didn't help,as we all have different shaped ears.For sound quality and bass and volume,they were the best I've heard on any earbud and better than the Sony's XM4 and Huawei free buds pro and Samsung plus and Live as I have them and can compare.Ibwill be returning the Liberty 3 Pro unfortunately.

Anyone have recommendations for "loud" headphones? I am currently using the Google Pixel Buds, and some AKG headphones that came with a Samsung phone. My main device I use them with is an LG V60. At Max Volume, I am constantly wishing the volume was louder. I loved the Skullcandy Titan and the 50/50 before they were discontinued. I use my headphones primarily for listening to Rock, Metal, and Hip-Hop/Rap. Megadeth, Trivium, Mastodon, Kevin Gates, Nipsey Hustle, ScHoolboy Q, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ab-Soul, just to name a few. I don't need noise isolation. I am looking for something that is loud, without distortion. I don't have a preference for bluetooth or wired. I do prefer in ear. Maybe I am doing something wrong or don't have the correct settings on my phone. I ripped my music from CDs and transferred them over, drag and drop to my LG V60, which has a built in DAC. My problem is I am constantly wishing the volume was louder.

Great review !! I would like to mention that You did not referred to the battery life for sony x14 and the mic quality for all of the earbuds. Btw this is one of the most useful videos . Thank you for your efforts man 👍🏻

Would love to hear your thoughts on the isoTunes series of earphones and see if you can find a way to test other earphones for noise blocking to see if that feature can be reproduced in cheaper models of earbuds

The Reflect Mini NC are good. They EQ really well & the bass is unmatched. You can make them sound how u want in the app

@@gageedward2613 yeah they're great for sound quality and sports with the wing tips and ip7 rating. They have flaws like all other wireless earbuds as well.

I enjoy watching all your reviews, but the bowers & Wilkins p17 should be in the top 10, it’s actually my favourite earbuds, better sound than the Sony in my opinion
@michaelgilbert78413 жыл бұрын
Dude honestly I think they sound great too along with the b&o eqs. But after owning tons of tws, neither are worth $400 imo. Features and anc are meh on both. That leaves sound quality and just premium "feel". The pi7s don't even feel or look $400 premium. The b&o eqs do though. But if sound quality is only top tier feature, you can have great sound quality for alot less than $400. Jmo of course.

How is Jabras not on here? Did the others pay more for the reviews? I tried like 15 earbuds.. and for the price.. no comparison for sound/bass... Sony x4 are not as good

Jbl club pro plus is the king not even close. Please make a review on it . Play on the equalizer because it’s the best. The equalizer is like studio quality.

The Sennheisers are a great sounding pair but the ANC is not great, nor is their app.. But having a retail price of $300 when the Sony's and Liberty 3 Pros offer equal if not better sound, better ANC and have much better apps make it hard to recommend anyone spend that much on the Sennheisers. And JBL, out of the ones I've tested don't really have one that I would say is Top 10 worthy. But like I said, there are many I haven't tried. These are just out of the ones I've tested...and has nothing to do with sponsors
