So, I've a smaller game collection, fewer than 30, and I've been waiting to see if any of the ones I own end up on your list. Half way through, and so far no, lol. Which is fine! Different tastes and all that. But it does make these lists a lot of fun to watch through and learn from! Also, I was introduced to J&Js through a video of yours from a while ago of you and Francis visiting the store. I live about an hour away and have ended up stopping in a couple of times since having been made aware. My first visit there I was just in awe of the shelves, lol. It's a lot to take in, but a really nifty game store!

I think it'd be a nice trend for board game content creators to start putting a list of the games they're featuring on the shelves seen in the video in the description so that viewers have the chance to explore even more game options without you needing to take time to specifically go over them in the video. Just food for thought! You have very nice ones in the background and they're not all readable from this distance!

I just played Abyss the other day and really enjoyed it. And I totally agree with what you're saying about Knarr. I love that mechanism where your engine becomes the resource you need to score points.

Again, a great group of games! I love the variety in your lists. Since I'm trying to find many different types of games, these videos are a great source for me. I had my eye on Abyss for a long time, same for Honey Buzz. I really need to play those. But the one I had never heard of before and that instantly went onto my wishlist was Atheneum. This looked so cool. I love the library theme.

I keep hearing about Abyss but it intimidates me. I will try it soon. Huzzah Nana! I loved when you taught us that game We played like 5 rounds and laughed so hard :) Such a fun day! I really want to pick it up at some point. Roam! I have that game and it's so good, and I find not enough people are talking about it. I haven't played MyCity Roll and Write yet, but I love MyCity, so I really want to try. Fleet is another one like that; I have been wanting to try it. I like dice games like that. I want to try the other games because I haven't yet. Honey Buzz I did play a while back, but don't remember much aside from wanting to eat the pieces. Above and Below is so good. I am so excited for the Haunted expansion. It has been a while since i last played Above and Below. I really should. Good video! :) Sorry for the long comment.

They made a really good App for Fleet: the dice game last year. Totally recommend. I’ve been playing it ever since cause there’s nowhere to buy a physical copy near me.

Don't be intimidated by Abyss! It actually surprised me with how simple the ruleset was! Loved playing Nana with you guys! I still need to play through My City! I really want to but it's so hard finding people that can dedicate time to go through the entire campaign. I actually didn't know there was a Fleet: The Dice Game app! I need to check that out! Abyss has a fan made solo mode. I printed it 😉☺️ It’s a deck of card and the AI take actions like the lost ruins of Arnak AI’s do.

Always happy to see Abyss get some recognition! (I need to get that back to the table, speaking of...) And Fleet: The Dice Game absolutely won me over as a surprise hit, much more so than the original game it was based on (which, speaking of BGA, plays really well on there except no one ever seems to be playing it!). While I loved the theme of Three Sisters, I thought it was just a *little* too over complicated for me; Fleet hit that sweet spot of multiple strategies and lots of choices without getting too overwhelming. Looking forward to the top half!

Yeah I do think Abyss needs to be talked about more! The cover does not do it justice. I feel like if they changed up the cover and put some of the gorgeous location art on it, it would grasp more peoples attention for sure! Fleet: The Dice Game is great and I totally understand! Abyss without expansions is just an OK game for me, but expansions really elevate this game to be a-ma-zing 🥰 At least you should try with Leviathan expansion, if not with both (Kraken).

Yeah I think I have only played it with the Kraken expansion. I didn't know there was another expansion actually! What does the Leviathan expansion add?

@@TheBoardGameGarden it's actually more essential than Kraken, IMO. It adds Leviathans that can show up during your drafting allies faze, and you can fight them to gain different bonuses. If you decide not to fight them, you risk taking a penalty. You also win points if you killed the most leviathans.
