Great list, love that you put I Want It All at number one. Just missed Doggystyle and 2001

Thanks 👍 I personally only like 2/3s of 2001 but the classics are as classic as it gets. I saw the Up In Smoke tour back in 2000 and will never forget it ! Doggystyle was a narrow miss for sure....I go back and forth between that and No Limit Topp Dogg for my #1 Snoop album

Great list.....MBDTF is my favorite Kanye album too. I'm not the biggest Common guy but seeing BE on your list has me wondering how I forgot to put Resurrection on mine 👍

@@Rockininthebasement Exactly. I was actually happy to see that your channel has videos about JAY-Z, Nas, Kanye West, etc. Videos about West Coast albums, and East Coast albums. It's very rare for a channel dedicated more to rock to talk about other genres with so much authority. You understand hip-hop and your collection proves it. Too $hort, E-40 etc. I'm also a collector and I saw that you don't have REASONABLE DOUBT by JAY-Z in your collection, this album became expensive and a little rare due to being out of print for almost two decades. JAY-Z and Dame Dash have a legal fight over Roc-A-Fella's rights. For me this album is the only one that comes close to illmatic (which is considered the best RAP album in history) Kendrick Lamar comes close too... I have two copies of Reasonable Doubt and paid over $500!!!

@Stifler4220 Thanks bro that was nice to hear ! I remember seeing Reasonable Doubt at the store here and there in the late 99s and early 2000s but it was always like $30 in 90s money and I was just just a teenager so I didn't get it only for it to pretty much disappear. I think I mentioned in my Nas video that he cancelled the show right before his Toronto stop on the Stillmattic tour....I was having such a good night up until then...would have been amazing. I'm not buying a ton of rap albums these days but on the lookout for old Suave House and Rap-A-Lot albums...

Damn dude… transporting me back to a time I remember especially the mid 90s when those albums were dropping, didn't think much at the time how many of those would be future essential classics. Was just listening to Das Efx Hold It Down, right before your vid popped up on my notifications. A few of my faves… The Goats, No Goats No Glory, Cypress Hill's Black Sunday, MC Lyte Aint't No Other, Naughty By Nature debut, Lost Boyz Legal Drug Money, Old Dirty Bastard Return to the 36 Chambers, etc. Good picks, definitely classics.

Blowing my mind with the Das Efx reference ...forgot about them. Can't find that ODB album....I think the same guy that stole my Cowboys From Hell and Divine Intervention albums while doing some work on my house snatched it 😅 That Lost Boyz album is a classic too

Kyle…Hot Boyz is definitely in top 7… you’re killing me. I still remember crushing their beats in the Cherokee up Timpson.

I totally remember that night too......it was Fall of 1999 and I think we rented 'The Mummy'😅. I thought it was so sick at the time that you had a CD player in your Jeep 😂
