Exactly the first 2 openings of Tate no yuusha were amazing the songs were good and gave a ton of hype,the visuals aswell they were full of movement not the static/stiils bullshit that is in season 2 ,season 2 song is just mediocre all around

My top 5: 1. Date a Live "incredible song for an incredible anime" 2. Tomodachi Game "Those are the most hype visuals I have seen in a while" 3. Shokei Shojo "WoW" 4. Kunoichi tsubaki "My favourite band is here ;)" 5. Mahoutsukai Reimeki "Feels like the first Railgun op, is amazing!!!" This is by far the best season of openings since spring 2021, also speaking about anime is 10/10.

Since Commenters here are sharing their favourites. I might aswell share mine. (No harm in doing so) Putting aside the Popular Ones. My personal favourites would be. 1. Mahoutsoukai Reimeiki (Fripside, one of my favourite iconic composer. Their songs fit my preferences in Music) 2. Koi wa Sekai Seifuku no Ato de ( The melody between the Two male and female singers were such an Ear Candy. Visuals were also suprisingly Stunning and colorful) 3. Scientist fell in love, so i tried to prove it - Season 2 ( The visuals were aesthetically pleasing. Song was pretty solid too) 4. Build Divide - Code White ( Code Black was Catchy for its Upbeat 8bit tune and Remix which i can say the same for this one. Without the 8bit theme) 5. Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Ichi (Sang by the one and only Peggies. Their songs also fits my taste in music for its catchy Rhythm, beat and not having the usual high pitch voices) 6. Yuusha Yamemasu (Not a well know Singer "yet" But clearly has an elegant voice. No full version of the song has been released yet.)

Ao ashi’s opening is pure Alexandros and I think they could be one of the best bands when it comes to sports openings. It’s also really refreshing to see a good modern football anime where it’s obvious the creator knows ball

I would agree there's no great song, Giri Giri is just a liiiittle weaker, though it might grow on me, and a lot of people didn't like Daddy Daddy Do initially either. I really like Mixed Nuts, actually, would recommend checking out the official music video for it, it's pretty funny. I'm kind of almost certain I'm going to keep listening to the song, and just eventually decide I totally love it, lol. it does perfectly fit the show. A lot of the OPs have really, really good editing/animation/concept though. like, Komi s2's song is just solid, but the visuals are very good. And the Shikimori OP looks phenomenal. honestly, two that were unexpectedly good for me were the ones for Trapped in a Dating Sim and I'm Quitting Heroing. you would really expect both of those shows to have mid/garbage OP songs, but the former has a pretty slapping rock song, and the latter is intense and emotional (which doesn't seem to entirely fit the show, but whatever). Executioner's OP isn't what I would call a super-pleasant listen, but it feels like a deliberate choice to have a somewhat unsettling song, signposting this as a darker fantasy. There's some really intriguing symbolism that doesn't make sense yet, but probably will when the season goes on. I am a teensy bit annoyed though that it seems to spoil that Mennou ends up fighting her mentor. lastly, CHAN CHAN AI CHIKI CHIKI BAN BAN
