Great list. I'm really intrigued by the Levy series and I'm kind of waiting for Henry: Agincourt, which seems like a good starting point. But Plantagenet is the one i really want, so I'm happy to hear you found more approachable than earlier entries in the series.

Great video, Sam! Voidfall looks so cool, but when I saw that weight on BGG it scared me off. But with your recommendation, I may have to give it a shot after all! Zoo Vadis, That's Not a Hat, and Sail though look RIGHT up my alley. Already looking for ways to get my hands on them!

Awesome vid once again, so cool to see Plantagenet there! I passed on Sail and now you just gave me fomo... how dare you? The whole sequence on voidfall is great, both visually and content. It left me wondering, can I trick my audience and the publisher into believing that it is "kind of" a game about history? It's. aCDG right, that can work... I mean it even has hexes. And thanks so much for the shout out! And check out The Battle of Versailles, definitely one of my top 5 of 2023.

Excellent list, but really surprised however you didn't have Hegemony somewhere! Hegemony is kind of the euro version of Root, 4 highly asymmetrical factions with huge interaction. It is actually BBG #1 game of 2023. If not already, you should really try it.
