I purchased a Hiphen x30 blue with cree led and these look like the radion lights. I also got 2 A+ A7 LEDs that look like the kessil 360.

100% agree with nicrew! I have a 50 watt for my 13.5 gallon and it’s growing sps just fine and it’s not even on full blast. They also came out with a nicrew controller like the kessil controller but it’s not compatible with the 30 wat only 50 and up.

Ppl need to look into smatfarm leds. They are very comparable to kessil for way less.. they use to be a little over $100 now $140.. I’ve seen a lot of ppl say they like them better than kessil and Ai and a few other real expensive one. And they last longer. I’ve seen too many kessil barley get past a year and you’re out a lot of money. You can buy 3 of these and be under the price of 1..

@@loganwhite6173 ya I’ve been running halides and stuff grows way fast.. but I’m going to switch to smatfarm after seeing all the good reviews and how they look. Some led do that disco ball crap I don’t like.. halides have Nice shimmer. Those smatfarm look very close..

@@loganwhite6173 I have 2 of them I was saving for a future build but I am putting up a 20 gallon long frag tank. It 30 wide but only 12 deep! Do you think I can tune them down and still not be to strong? Its for zoas, shrooms and maybe low light lps

Current USA is absolutely one of the O.G.’s of high quality, affordable led lights for Marne and freshwater. I was gifted one in 2016 and it ran like a champion for two years! I plugged it in the other day and she still runs perfectly. The storm effect programs work well and it’s still impressive for a 2013/14 technology light at the price point. 🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸

Have you tried current? I had them years ago and di not like them! No color pop at all and as I recall to many cords for the loop system! Surprised no mention of smat farm! I have two I havnt used yet but have read nothing but good even from pro reviewers like best productsusa ect. Ranked above API and kessil, didnt even see radion on the list! Four years ago I bought both nooppsyche k7 11 and ragion g5 and after comparing I took back the radions! I liked the shimmer of noopsyche better the color pop better and I wasnt blinder looking up at them from my desk nest to tank! Still goin strong 4 years later! I have smatfarms that I may put on my 20L but I have to do some drilling and sawing to get the mount to work! Sits out to far into the narrow 12 inch front to back tank. I also have 3 fluval sea 20 watts but so white heavy but they fit! I dont need strong lights at all because its 12 deep and mostly zoa and shrooms in frag tank!

I'd go with the hipargero 30w because of the triple puck aspect but the nicrew 30w would be a good choice since it has more led colors, I personally have the hipargero 30w over my 13.5 and it does just fine, I keep it set on blues all the way up and whites 1 touch from off and I have it mounted about 6" off the top of the tank with the included mount

I am looking for a expensive light for 20 long frag tank. Its pretty wide for a nano though at 30 in but also not deep at all at 12 inches. Its for zoas and shrooms. I may keep some lps temporary low par like acans. I love my noop k7 pro 11 so considering the mini. I read that it has a very deep penetration. Am I going to be able to get the spread with two and not be to strong as well? What would you choose in my situation? I also have 2 smat farms at 95 watts I have never used do you think I can tuned them down low enough? I have an unused aqueon sea strip but even though it says 24 to 36 it the leds dont go past 24 and its only 30 watts. i thought of getting another but not sure I want to spend 179 for one even though two of these others will cost that. i just dont think its worth it!. Lots of used ai primes on ebay just not sure how old they are and how long they will last! plus aroung 150 a piece! My noop k7 pro 11 are 4 years old and going strong but the app scares me. I want to change my program now( possibly switch to frag tank and put smat farms on the bigger one) but its been so long and I had so many problems before looking through my old emails from them where they came on full blast in the middle of the night ect! Every time I made a change I would loose my program ect! I have a ton of new high end corals I dont want to loose! Also thought of hm cetus. smat farm 50 watts as well!

I have one of the nicrew 30w and 2 of the hipargero triple puck 30w lights on my 40g breeder tank an they grow things like zoas, Xenia, gsp and other softies just fine for their price point. I dont think they'd be great for a hard coral tank tho

Yo dude you should check out the Ali’A radion xr30 copy I brought 2 to fry and they are on par with a thousand bucks light for 180 bucks have the same leds and their is a 20 par difference from my actual radion and runs ab+ spectrum perfectly best budget lights I have ever used going to sell my radions now and replace them with A8se Smart Full Spectrum 215W WiFi APP Programmable Saltwater Aquarium Coral Reef LED Light

ive used the nicrew 30w and the hipargero 30w for a few years now and they're good budget lights. reliable and does the job, I dont think theyd be good for a hard coral tank tho

What’s the difference between Ai prime hd and the 16hd ?I was offered a prime hd new in the box for 75$ .I like the Nicrew but 75$ for the hd seems like a bet

The only difference is the HD has 15 LEDs and 16hd has 16 lol and the 16hd is Bluetooth only.

Keep in mind basically every Chinese light overstates their wattage. The first one you mentioned claims it’s 30 watts, and without even testing the light I know for a fact it’s not 30 watts. They use 3, 3 watt LED’s per cluster and 3 clusters so at best you’re getting 27 watts but realistically it’s probably even less than that because if they’re running the LED’s at full power it needs a bigger heat sink. Realistically you’re probably getting closer to 20 watts out of your “30 watt system”. Make sure you actually test the wattage instead of taking these companies at what they claim and spouting their false claims.
