Loved Enchanted Pumpkin Wine last year! So much so that I purchased another a few weeks ago when Homeworx was having a great sale. Also picked up Oat Milk Latte, so excited to try it this Fall.

Bring on the fall candles! I thought Homeworx had some late releases as well that didn't get talked about much. There is currently a scent on QVC called Falling Acorns that I'm curious about. I think it was a late fall release. Have you tried that one? Scent notes are toasted acorns, pecans, caramel glaze, embers.

I enjoyed this Kevin, as I did not purchase HW candles last year and found it intriguing. Fall is just the best smells (and decor and treats, etc lol). I’m still waiting for my candle place to drop but might look forward to picking up one of these if they return.

“Bless your heart”😂. That’s okay, I can take it for liking Yankee still, even with their issues. They have new three wicks if you ever extend the olive branch to them. 🕊️ HomeWorx , Goose Creek, and Kringle candles have all let me down before, so much so haven’t bought from their candles in the last year, but I won’t bash them and I never say never about buying their candles in the future.

Homeworx comes up with some of the best fragrances, which is why I can’t quit them when they have performance issues. I’m “one of those” who talks about Kringle a lot because, like every brand I purchase from, I like some of their candles & others not so much. Believe it or not, yes, there is a large contingent in the candle community who like them & are able to afford their price point. My analytics tell me it’s worth my while to include them in the content I create. Their wax formula & fragrances don’t irritate a lot of my friends & family who are extremely sensitive to fragrance. Plus, they are made in the USA, which inherently comes with a higher cost. I’m not saying they’re morally superior, but lots of these larger brands produce overseas & can reflect that in their pricing. My job, as a reviewer, is to share my honest assessment of how a candle performs in my home. I give specifics as to my home layout, environment, etc, so that viewers know where I’m coming from. I’ll tell them who I think the candle is best for & most times, I actually let people know that while I enjoy a candle & appreciate the PR, it likely won’t be a repurchase for me. I also call a dud out if it’s a dud🤷🏼‍♀️ All that to say that I’m excited to see what Homeworx brings out this Fall. I loved Palo Santo Pumpkin (but not sure if that was Halloween🤔) & hope that they bring it back with some strength & throw.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Katie. I’ve actually never seen any Kringle content from you before, so my opinion on how some of their ambassadors handle it is based on other reviews that I’ve watched. But I always appreciate your viewpoint regardless

@@Inenell no worries. I didn’t take it as an insult & I think you expressed your opinion in a classy manner. Others have not been so kind & some of their followers like to rail against Kringle. I get it as some ambassadors put in more work than others, but that’s a topic for another day. 😂 As for me, I’m glad there’s a variety of brands to shop from for everyone’s price point & preferences. I also prioritize buying candles that I haven’t tried before unless a fragrance really just blows me away.

@@katiesjoyfullife Yeah it's an interesting topic for sure. And I'm glad to see an opposing viewpoint brought to the table for once. But unfortunately, after the fiasco with the guy who used to run the HomeWorx facebook group a few years ago, I completely understand the skepticism surrounding Kringle's sudden push with PR over the past couple of years. But when it's all said and done, I think what it boils down to for me is would we see all the different hauls and reviews from many of the social media accounts who feature Kringle/Country candle if they werent being sent to them for free or providing them with an affiliate code? I feel pretty safe answering that question with a very solid NO. I would even venture to say that many of them would likely stop hauling their candles altogether. And honestly, that's probably not that big of a leap to make considering there were several that rarely ever hauled them prior to the ambassadorship existing.

@@Inenell totally get that! I’m newer to the scene so I guess I missed out on a lot of previous drama. I’ve been filled in a little bit on craziness that has gone on in the past with Homeworx. My guess w/Kringle is that their PR is probably the way that they’re trying to compete with bigger, more recognizable brands like BBW who still dominate the market. Like I said, I’m newer to things & I was actually purchasing from Kringle, Homeworx, Yankee & BBW prior to me starting my channel. I really do understand a lot of people’s concerns as I give the side eye to constant code pushing & hauls with no follow ups. Thanks for allowing me to have this dialogue. I didn’t mean to high jack your comments (although comments are good for engagement 🤪). I genuinely enjoy your content. 👍🏻

I ordered some Yankee candles and I sent every single candle back. They didn't have any smell to them and I was really looking forward to smelling them. Kringle candles were a waste of money. Even the Walmart and Aldi candles smell better than Kringle and Yankee but I mainly trust B&BW, GooseCreek, Homeworx.

I like the Yankee meltcups. I have the meltcup warmer & love that thing. I’ll use the cups & put other wax cubes in them too. I’m ready for fall though too! And I’ll never purchase from Kringle again.

Totally agree, the best thing Yankee has done for Yankee candle is the meltcup system

I buy the yankee wax melts and they are still nice and strong and the paraffin gives a bit truer scent. They still have plenty of classics and some newer fall staples like Pumpkin Banana Scone or Autumn Nature Walk. Not like Homeworx is on top of their game or BBW isn't repetitive and unimaginative lately mixing two scents together like they do recently or repackages. GC might have Kent doing labels but much of their new fall stuff is a miss so like Yankee we stick to the old school scents more. Bless all our hearts cause of what we put up with. Most of the candles companies can do better for us :)

@@Inenell Yankee will have as many quality scents out as any of the others this year even if they rely on the classics and WoodWick. No matter if the fall collection sucks again this year and has just one decent one. BBW or Homeworx pumpkin apple or pumpkin spice or leaves aren't destroying Yankees. Autumn Nature Walk is solid enough to return if not amazing but BBW Woodlands and walk in the woods etc. are not as good as it. Can't buy the Classic jars anymore but Scentworx was totally destroyed by Slatkin so most have a format you don't want or can't get like GC large jars. I'll probably have as usual equal amounts of HW, Yankee, GC, BBW, Village and Cheerful scents this fall. :)
