Havitat is great if they don’t have events going on. Not very good soundproofing between floors, weirdly. Bed is 10/10. Very near Power Plant Mall. U Hotels is my top in this list for staycations. Good size, smells fantastic. Right by P. Burgos where you have great food choices but surprisingly peaceful at night (didn’t stay on a Friday though). Lub d dorms have the best value if you just need a close accommodation for work (which is usually what I need to stay near Rockwell for). Citizen Hotel ehm. Haha. The rooms I’ve stayed at were nice but I always feel like that’s where people go to… you know. The staff’s uniform there is also this skimpy red chiongsam IDK why. Not great for business trips. A new one is Mad Monkey. Great staff but very noisy at night. It’s surrounded by pubs and restos that play loud music. Not good for staycation, but good if you’re partying in Pobla because it gets quiet past 2am anyway. Their café is open 24/7. Great burgers and bar food, decent coffee, but skip the sandwiches.
