I think my list would be this. I'll put both mech and imp in different spaces, along with the reasons why. Even though I only have the Pylon Imp and the SHRImp, I'll be judging by what I've seen. Imps | Mechs 1: Scallywag Imp |1: Scallywag Mech | Scallywag Imp and his mech is top because he not only has his Pirate Mode meter, but he has a nice fire rate. In mech form, his abilities act like a it's a normal Imp abilities, next to the gravity grenade which is a like a chili bean bomb. He also has his other mech move which by what I've seen is like the Impkata. 2: Lil Drake | 2: Drake Mech | Lil Drake and his mech are second because he seems quite powerful by what I've seen. He does good damage outside of his mech. But his mech is where he shines. The mech has super high damage, almost insta-killing plants. The charge seems to be useful for getting out in a hurry or getting into battle. 3: Pylon Imp | 3: Pylon Mech | Oh Pylon Mech. This guy is in third because if you can get used to his attack and figure out a good way to play him. He can be super powerful. His mech however is pretty good. It's a more damaging and faster firing version of his original attack. The mech also has Pylon mines which can be great for defending an area as they can one shot almost any plant with their 175 damage per mine. The mech has a charge ability which does good damage that can one shot a Sunflower. It's really a great Imp and once you get used to him you can be quite dangerous. 4: Party Imp | 4: Z7 Mech | Now, this is where it gets tricky to say why I did this. The party Imp is in because he's not that different from the regular Imp who is quite powerful. But he gets his Party meter which will give him a boost of damage and more scarily, speed. Now, the Z7 mech. This mech is in fourth because it's close to the original mech quite like the party Imp is. But it has two different abilities. The first one shoots a ball, kind of like Super Brainz, but instead of damaging plants it pulls them to the mech. The next ability is a simple one. It's a close range red blade that the mech swings, damaging plants. The two abilities combo'd can be quite dangerous. The mech would be higher if it wasn't something you had to buy to get. 5: S.H.R.Imp | 5: Party Mech | S.H.R.Imp is in fourth because he's good outside of his mech. Especially if you can aim. He has auto-fire and a high fire rate meaning he can do some good damage fast. The Party mech is also fourth because even if it's just the regular Imp mech. It looks nice and it has the party meter giving it more damage and speed, which speed can make a mech VERY dangerous. 6: Imp | 6: Basic Mech | Now the basic Imp and it's mech are in sixth because they aren't too great. But still decently powerful if played correctly. The Imp has a nice damage output which is useful, and the mech is decently powerful. The mech has a stomp ability which is more to get plants away from you as well as doing some damage. It also has an ability that shoots rockets at a rapid pace. Though not doing too much damage if you don't get into the battle. It's still a nice character. 7: Z7 Imp | 7: S.H.R.Imp Mech | Finally we have the Z7 Imp and the Shrimp Mech. The Z7 Imp is really only powerful if you have good aim and can spam the fire button, otherwise it's not that great, you also have to pay for it, and it's only a limited time offer. The Shrimp Mech however is good when used correctly. It has decent damage and the beam it fires homes a tiny bit. It's more of a get onto the point and push the plants off to cap mech. You fly in using your dash, then use the tornado to push the plants away, even though it dissipates on the tiniest of things. Then you damage the plants that aren't in the tornado, jump out of the mech, then finish everything off. So, that was my list which is also just my opinion. I also don't have any experience with the Imps next to the Shrimp, Pylon, and Basic Imps.

5: S.H.R.I.M.P. I haven't played as this character too much (Always too busy with Lil' Drake lol) but I think it is very good and I love it's design as both an Imp and Mech. The Mech is pretty awesome and great, but it still just CAN'T beat the power of the Lil' Drake. 4: Pylon Imp. Long story short, the Shrimp was gonna be number 4 and number 5 was gonna be the Basic Imp but then I remembered I wanted to put the Pylon Imp on the list. So I did the Pylon Imp as an honorable mention. But then I realized I liked the Pylon Imp more than the Basic Imp so I removed the Imp from the list and replaced it with the Pylon Imp. But then I realized that I liked the Pylon Imp more than the Shrimp too. So I swapped them around. Anyways, I love the Pylon Imp's primary weapon, SO GOOD. The Mech abilities could be better though. What really makes the Pylon Imp good is both the Mech and Imp primary weapons. They're just so powerful and good! Anyways, that's gonna be it for the Pylon Imp. Onto number 3! 3: Z7 Imp. I just LOVE the combo of the Magnet Pull thing and the Zomni Blade combined however I never got this character until it was too late unfortunately. However I did do its Hero Showcase and I really liked it! This was originally going to be number 2 but since the Hero Showcase was a while ago, I don't have much to go off of due to not remembering it too well. Plus, I don't even have this character so, yeah. 2: Scallywag Imp. I actually don't have this character (Although I have one sticker for both the Scallywag Imp and Commando Corn so that's great) but from the looks of it, I am going to LOVE this character once I get it! I just love the whole design, concept, and everything about it in general! I love it's design as an Imp, and I think Yohoho Mode is really cool with the whole only killing 3 Plants thing. It's Mech looks really cool too! I really like the bomb thing the Mech has and the fact that the developers gave it an upgraded version of Impkata! And I just LOOOOVVVVEEEE how they made its normal shot be close ranged but zoomed shot be long range as a reference to Captain Deadbeard who is also a pirate, and just everything about this Imp is SO FREAKING COOL!!! 1: I've been talking about it a lot, and of course my number 1 is the Lil' Drake! I love it's fire damage and the dragon design, and it's Mech used to have the most health out of all the Mechs until it was tied for the most health with Scallywag Imp when it came out. And that health gives it a big advantage! Idk why people complain about its attack being close ranged because it doesn't really give it any disadvantage to me. Because it makes it GREAT for just rushing in and killing everyone in the Garden in Gardens and Graveyards and even outside of Gardens and Graveyards I have no trouble using the Mech's primary weapon so it is really odd to me why people complain about it. As for the Mech abilities, it's kinda meh. They're alright. Anyways, the Lil' Drake is not only my favorite Imp, but my favorite Zombie in general. As for my favorite Plant, just the normal Peashooter has to take that spot. I love the Peashooter so much.

my top 5 5: scallywag imp On my opinion this character is very alright mostly I like the mech the most (cause it's a ship) primary weapon is alright. 4: party imp he does have 40 ammo and I like it, i still like party music, but over all I like it. 3: drake the drake is a fun character, but still I'm alright with it I like fire damage and he was my first imp. 2: S.H.R.imp his great for glitches and I really good enjoy playing as him! but I hate that I need one more peace for him, at least i get to play as him in supermixs modes! AND NUMBER OOONEE: Z7 his my mastered character and I can rapidly trigger his attack, I can also get a VANQIUSH streak of 29, that was my highest streak but otherwise I loove him!

I HATE lil' drake. His mech is overpowered like crazy. 400 hp, the damage is broken and the fire damage is too punishing. The range may be short until he decides to dash towards you which gives you no way to get out. He's so stupidly overpowered that if I see anyone using him in an online match, I'm just going to leave. I'm not playing with a lil drake spammer. I don't care how many people get triggered from this. Personally, lil drake is the worst character in the entire game.

Zebra the other ability for the drake mech is a temporary shield. At least I think because usually If you shoot a mech in the face it would normal damage. If you shoot a mech in the back it will come up with the shield icon which is less damage. Anyways every time I was shooting at a drake mech with his shield up it would come up with the shield icons. Also If shoot the shield enough it will destroy it earlier.
