Ditto. I can’t wait for pretty much all the sequels you mentioned. Especially for Kristoff’s EOTV series and Cahill’s Bound and the Broken. I’m still playing catch up with Brown and am almost finished with Dark Age right now. I also can’t wait for the sequels to Correia’s Forgotten Warrior saga and for Edge’s Bladeborn saga. Also there’s Abercrombie’s new book coming as well. Going to be a hectic time for reading next year and I’m all for it!

My most anticipated new release is Judge of Worlds, i.e. the final book of the Kithamar trilogy by Daniel Abraham. Good to hear that the third book of the Empire of the Vampire is coming out. I read the first part last month, and it was really good - just as you said - and I will read the second one in January or February. So, it would be perfect timing if the third one would be published some time next year.

I’m so excited for the end of Sun Eater and some more Gabriel De Leon! I’m currently a 5th of the way into Wind and Truth, then I have to read Wrath, then I was planning to continue Red Rising with Iron Gold. This video was super relevant 😂 That Ryan Cahill series has been on my list for a while so that might be after.

I cant wait for book 7 of sun eater. Regardless of my feelings on book 6, I MUST know how it all comes together and what happens after. I'm sure ill be pining for Empire of the Vampire book 3 once i read book 1-2 in January/February. Pumped. So i listened to The Name of the Wind earlier this year as one of my first audiobooks. I listened to it in about 3 days. I think it's completely over hyped. My buddies said it was one of the best books they've ever read, for me, it lays at the literal bottom of my list of worst book I've read, with lies of locke Lamora not far behind. 🤷♂️. I hated Kvothe and his entire "journey". I'll be curiois to see how you feel about it.
@SpacedOutReads3 күн бұрын
@@Dugrath Yes, Sun Eater 7 will be quite intresting! I am definitely in the edge of whether I’ll get back to Name of the Wind or not, though I am surprised to hear you didn’t like Locke Lamora (though I haven’t read that one yet)
@Dugrath3 күн бұрын
@SpacedOutReads definitely! I won't swade you lol, if you read it, I hope you enjoy it. Cause I was mad about how much I hated it. Glad I didn't physical read it otherwise I would have felt like I lost a lot of time I wouldn't get back. 😅 Yeah Lies started off rocky and felt ok...then during a bookclub meet up we were discussing what the ending might be like and how it could completely change our views on the book. So instead they did something completely different and worse (actually just completely lazy and boring for a plot reveal) and we lost all faith in the rest of the book. Unanimously we all hated it. My buddies ending was significantly better than the actual book's ending. 🤣
