if i loose kaveh i also sometimes go for furina burst because when your on narwhal you get 3 stacks with each heal and the damage buff really helps sometimes but other than that its hard to make a comeback unless youve already taken at least 1 opp out.

i dont like furina's burst that much because even if you have a million stacks of Universal Revelry, it only gives +1 dmg to each attack :/ if it gave +(stacks) dmg for just the next attack, i would totally use it

Backed you up on this, at least youre honest and playing meta, which really not much counter to 2 whale deck variation (kaveh and beast). Others will try to get more view to use non-meta deck, play against low ELO player that will ended in yunjin 1st turn (if you know, you know). People will copy the deck and get wrecked while trying to get their 2 win in monday to get their coin quota. If the meta is boring is really the devs fault. 20 Damage ult 2nd turn with easy setup and no emergency changes?

@@LandryArri Yeah it's ridiculous. They emergeny nerfed Yelan and Treasure but left the Narwhal, Kaveh and the Consecrated Beasts as they were. I have no idea what these devs are smoking.

@@wingdingsgasterdings I think they emergency nerfed Yelan because the devs didn't want another tournament wave dominated by Yelan. Especially because the situation at the Prince's cup has become ridiculous. It is just nothing but freeze decks. It's actually interesting when narwhal doesn't get banned, because you get to see a different match instead of yet another freeze deck, which all play the same. Kaveh and and narwhal are still new, so they are letting people enjoy the new stuff before they balance.

That's a good ConWhale strat they used with the scorpion sacrifice. I never came up with a proper strat against this deck, but the card draw focus seems like the obvious way to go. This season's aggressive vs aggressive meta has been feeling more dependent on RNG for me, so I'm considering a stall/mid-range deck for the 1st time

nothing but pure aggro works in this current meta, unfortunately, because the aggro in this meta is so strong that stall cant even survive it. i do recommend kaveh bloom if you wanna remove the rng factor since you dont use its action cards

If he does that the narwhals burst will have 3 uses of 4 damage cuz there will be only 3 4 cost cards and I just opened this vid again lol I watched it before so I found this comment and now replying at 3:31 am

we dont put those in because we need to make sure that we discard 3 cards of the same dice cost for narwhal to gain +3 max HP. if you discard 3 cards where only 2/3 have the same cost, the narwhal gains +2 HP; and if all 3 cards have different costs, the narwhal only gains +1 HP

I have a question, why dont u use joyjous arcane in 2:16? they can only do 1 reaction is crystalize (kinda hard) if you use that

wanted to save it for day of resistance which counters wriothesley pretty hard since he performs lots of low dmg attacks. but using it the way you mentioned is a great choice too, thanks for the advice
