Okay well this whole thing is beautiful! The storytelling is unmatched, the skiing is absolutely ripping and the POV and color is about as perfect as it gets! But that hit through the trees at Baldface was actually next level. Watched on the TV with my sister. Didn’t want it to end! 🙌🏽

One thing that has made even the most mediocre ski days really fun is to pick a zone and challenge yourself to pick out a line top to bottom. Ski that a few times and try to link it all together, ski it faster, send it bigger, or challenge yourself in other ways. Skiing is an epic sport where it's just you vs. you or you vs. the mountain and no one else really matters. Remember that :)

Heading to Japan next month for my second ski trip! Excited is an understatement, and this time I’m driving from Tokyo to Hokkaido hitting a few resorts north on the mainland. Really wanting to pick up the max to document my own tree lines, but wish there was a Max 2 as the 12+ wide lens looks super nice, especially for social shots! Get to Japan!!

My skiing career ended 10 years ago this past week. What skis do you use? I never got on the 'shaped bandwagon', only renting some a few times. I had (and still have) a pair of Dynastar-195 'straights' which I used for 19 years and were great. I'll be 75 in a few days and really miss the slopes around this time of year!

Well this is just absolutely sick! Mammoth is our home mountain and I know exactly what kind of snow we got during this time. It was measured in daily feet not inches this season. Amazing videography, just the flow alone makes me want to ski right now. Been following Lucas since the start and he always impresses with his dedication each season.

Yeah! No prob! I shoot everything pretty much in 5K30, sharpness low, ev comp -0.5, flat color, WB auto, iso min 100 max 800. For pov I use the hemisphere priority for exposure, And in GoPro player I uncheck horizon lock and world lock for the pov so you don’t need any key frames. For run number 2 and 1 in this video I accidentally shot in 3K60 in max so the quality was not up to my standards but that’s okay :)
