My Top 5 Work Trousers Reviewed in 2017

Here are my top 5 workwear trousers that I reviewed in 2017 - these are some of the newest products on the market and will see you right for all that hardwork this year. No matter what job you do one of these trousers will suit you, from Snicker work trousers designed for the toughest of floor laying tasks day after day, to Dickies work trousers as a great all rounder, FXD is a new comer from Australia and is hard as nails but made from 100 % cotton; my boys wear them every day in our shop. @@subrosaboi1ify they’re slightly stretchy and extremely thick and hot. They shrink down terribly if you aren’t careful in the dryer. Go with engelbert strauss

Mate what about the tradie brand flex pants with the flexie "no ouchie crutch" Best comfort Best durability They look good Plenty of good pocket space Im a big bloke and find them so comfy and non restrictive when bending down and lifting leg up to climb. Theres nothing to catch on things and rip with the elastic leg cuffs. Not bad for $65 aud

This is spot on about the popular work pants! I have been trying them all and destroying them too, i'm really hard on pants. I have tried all the top brands and new styles, ok, pocket here, there, half sizes, rip stop, fire hose. the bottom line is all the manufactures are having everything made in china or Tiawan or Hong Kong, a lot of the top brands are now catering to the non-working man and going for the fashion. So the are making them cheaper and more fashionable and raising the prices! believe what you wish, but its the truth! A lot of manufacturers say made in USA, but the fine print says less than 10%, then they can lie! Here are ones I found and when you look at the price and how many a year I go thru, 70-80% less than buying what people say are the best and paying top dollar for not the best! I am from the US I've never heard of the Snickers but I'm really liking what I see I just turned 30 so I am a very thin guy looking for a very slim leg pant everything I try on from Carhartt to Dickies are very large and baggie and just don't suit my taste. I have none of these to look at in person but I know they make the tuff and flexi. I'm want to order these online is there a difference in fit between these would these be a slim legs as my Levi's I wear?

Great concise video, tells you what you need to know quickly. One thing you could add is full details of the trousers you are talking about for the duration of mini review. Struggled to find some of the trousers as you said some of the name so quickly and not always clearly.

Its a shame that the US is only just now starting to see work wear like this. I work for an irish company and many of the lads that come over are wearing snickers pants. They blow Carharrts right out of the water

Snickers floor layers trousers do not last significantly longer in my experience as a tiler..... Why oh why have they not an attachment on the trousers for an external kneepad... .? No fabric is up to contact against cement floors...... A wee bit of lateral thinking req..... External kneepads constrict the back of the knee - so why can't we get a trouser attached external kneepad system?

Those are interesting points you are mentioning. As of my understanding Kneeprotection is Normed by the EN 14404 standard. That standard contains a categorisation in types allowed for knee protection. As far as I know an attachment for external kneepads is not contained nor allowed. I suppose that might be the reason you cannot have your mentioned solution.

Why, why , why can’t any of the work wear companies make highly flexible trousers for plasterers , for years now I’ve been trying all sorts of trousers to suit my trade, and still looking, or why don’t these companies ask plasterers !!

My Snickers fell apart at the crotch within 6 months. Absolute rubbish. Anything less than £80 aren't really premium are they? You never mentioned Fristads? What about Blaklader? Beken & Strom?
