Appreciate you Nick. Your intro really summed things up great. If MZ "went to 0" I'd absolutely still be collecting it. There's enough product to keep me busy already to collect a lifetime. Love the cards you showed off. Especially the Mothman Topps First Sighting. Such an underrated card imo. I think my 5 best MZ cards 2023 are my 1/1, Black, Orange, Gold & Green Bordered Chrome Tizheruk rainbow! I rate that #69/99 Mothman green cryptid cam pull. Might be your best yet 😂

I was able to pick up quite a bit of Metazoo at much better prices this year. Some of my better buys was 10 Nightfall booster boxes for $400, a 9.8 1st printing of the 1st Metazoo comic, Samples, A full holo flame tower piasa bird and very recently the great looking Men in black cards by poncho from the new disclosure files 2.0.

I just won a nice eBay auction for a steal!! 5 holo nightfall mothman, two holo grim reapers, and two holo windego for 10$. And I agree with you on metazoo brother. Some people are actual fans and love the artwork and enjoy metazoo openings. The people who are mad are the people who got into it simply for a money investment, and when they lost money. they all started hating metazoo 😂 lol great pick ups though ✅👍🏼💯🔥

Awesome video and pickups legend! I was able to get myself: A sample sam sinclair, a Kickstarter art set, was able to complete my Kickstarter Master set, CN1 completed too now. Was able to get 30 of the /50 Topps sam sinclair gold cams. A /5 chaos crystal cam for 80$ :O - Lastly got a lot of rare promos like BBQ, Loveland mailman etc. On whatnot I got offered the gold supporter medal for 220... Feel like I should've taken that steal.. But, I'm a happy boy!

This video makes me excited for MetaZoo’s potential recovery and rebound in 2024. Not all of us that are “mad” at MetaZoo are just “investors,” we just want to see the company get back to making the right decisions so the MZ brand can get back on the right track to grow and thrive. Great video!

Hey Nick! I haven't collected Metazoo in a while, but I feel your sentiment regarding Pokemon. Other than 151, I haven't liked the new Scarlet and Violet series. Maybe you could change the channel name to something like Nick's Strength and Collecting (?) or Nick's Strength and Hobby (?). Just a thought!

This has been the problem from the beginning with MetaZoo. Your buying a product from a company that DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR THE CONSUMER!!! Think about the launch and timing of metazoo, it was more of a PUMP than pokemon. And vs you and many not liking the new pokemon and artwork......Metazoo has always had crap art and characters (besides a few) literally it looks like a 10yo child drew most the artwork. I don't know about you, but as a BIGFOOT FAN SINCE CHILDHOOD, metazoo has FAILED HORRIBLY with that particular character and lore haha!

It takes time to start a game from scratch. Mike had been working on the game a long time before the TCG Boom. The timing was perfect, but not planned. I think a lot of the issues are due to lack of experience than malice. Usually a company has time to work through all their issues before being in the public eye. They were expected to be the next Pokemon basically instantly, which they did lean into and were not ready for yet. This quick success definitely made them cocky (most people would be after having massive success so early) and do things they shouldn't have. The future will show if they learned from these mistakes. As far as the art, some of the art is very basic (especially early on) but there is tons of great art in the sets. It's not supposed to be Frank Frazetta. There are other games for that.
