Question about fungal spraying. Your leaves look so good are you on a spraying regimen? In N. Ga so much spring rain, I get bacterial spot a lot.

Copper in the fall, and then copper again at the end of winter, then captan at half of the lowest rate two times and then i will usually stop using captan and maybe spray half of the low rate of vangard. I don’t like spraying a lot of fungicide over the years i continue to cut the rate down lower and lower, i usually take the lowest rate on the label and then cut it in half.

So i just sprayed them with vangard a few days ago now i won’t spray them again for probably 30 days. Maybe One more time before harvest.

Hopefully you find the name. Any chance you were recording back when it was new? Maybe you have a post on Facebook or Instagram or a video where you named it?

I have looked before but i’m going to try one more time since it will be easier then air layering! thanks for watching

@UncleClaysOrchard this winter when you prune put 15-20 1yr wood in a gallon ziplock. Preorder some st Julian a rootstock or other semi dwarf peach stock. Keep scions in fridge untill spring when the rootstock show up. Now you have semi dwarfs of that tree for less than 5-6 bucks each

Recently discovered that my peach tree has flagging at the tips of New growth. There's a little maggot inside. I've removed everything I could. From my research, it's either an oriental fruit moth or a peach leaf bore? What's your thoughts on how to combat flagging on peach trees. Thanks!

start by pruning and disposing of those branches, then i would check the label for the new Sevin insecticide that has Zeta-Perthrin in it and see if it covers leaf bore.

Do you have any recommendation on mixture to get rid of leaf curl. I've been spraying Bonide multiple times during dormancy but it just keeps getting worse every year

Multiple applications of Copper fungicide works the best. The chemical is a weird blue color. The first application is in the fall right as the last of the leaves fall off
