14 years ago my mom bought me a travel set of shu uemura brushes for my birthday. It was like 20k php or something. Splurge grabe. Pero hangang ngayon going strong pa rin sila. They hold pigment so well, blend, and overall improve the workability of the product. Alam ko agad kung hindi maganda ung palette na binili ko pag gamit ko yung mga brush na yun. Moral of the story is buy the best you can. The quality translates not only in the longevity of the brushes but with the application as well.

The thing about synthetic brushes is that the bristles hindi sya nagdedecompose. Ending up in the landfill and may eventually leech into the ocean making it more harmful sa marine life. Kasi nga it may take 100 of years to decompose or more. Then you ask yourself are you really protecting them by using synthetic or are you just adding pollution that may eventually kill them. If only meron synthetic brush that can decompose when disposed. Sana meron at sana affordable din. I highly respect your advocacy because i am an advocate too. I have a handful of synthetic brushes and a handful of natural bristle brush as well. I could never let go of them kasi nga sa cause and effects of disposing them. I am now transitioning my brushes sa natural bristles(personal use lang naman so hindi bugbod sakin yung bushes) but very mindful sa synthetic brushes ko as i could use them sa plants/bonsai maintenance and painting.

You have to wash your brush using liquid or bar soap for brushes, in warm water and pag mabilisan naman buy also sa brush cleaner spray like parin spirit it cleans and disenfect. Pero it's a must na need talaga I wash ang brush bristles after gig

@@worldsendumbrella meron din kasi na product na pang spray sanitizer for powder eyeshadow and blushes. pag cream eyeshadow lipstick blush or foundation I use spatula I scrape ko lagay ko sa stainless palette ko in that way ma less un contamination or bacteria same as concealer I don't use the wand directly sa skin I lalagay ko sya sa back NG hand ko or sa palette 😉

Investing in quality brushes are worth it. It lasts for 10 to even 15 yrs. If one buys super cheap brush like P100 a set, you will just throw it away . Its a waste of money. Also it can harm your skin.
