Some very good things here. Nothing to dislike as far as I can see.

The other Dutch train is the SNG that also comes in the pack. A sprinter train, build by CAF.

Can't wait for Cardiff City Network the Dutch route and the North London line

I'm looking forward to Cardiff city network. Can't wait to see the 153 and I always prefer shorter, network style routes. Cardiff to Radyr is only about 15-20 mins depending which branch you use, the longest services I'm pretty sure are Coryton to Penarth at about 35 mins which I much prefer on a short network route as can drive back and forth for a while and then switch trains and go out to other places. And trains to Cardiff bay just shuttle back and forth to Cardiff QS on a 4 min journey. Similar to Brighton and Hove.

So, regarding the Dutch route. Looking forward to it a lot. First, the other train you saw blurred from the cabview is the other train included in this route, the NS SNG. NS ICM "Koploper" will be the intercity train on this route, and the NS SNG will be the sprinter service calling at all stations. Regarding the business of the cab and safety systems. Obviously, as you can see, currently they do not yet seem to have actually enabled lighting, so all the lights are lit. That said, there's the deadman, which works slightly like the German SIFA system, except it's also enabled at 0 speed. The indication that it needs to be pressed is the blue light under the brake gauges on the inner right side of the table. And there's ATB. You won't need to acknowledge anything for it, but it's indicated through the lit dots above the speedometer in the middle, which on this particular train, is actually a bar. Which is quite interesting. It works in steps, as you can see, as all of them are lit in the image, and the one active is basically a limiter on that speed (+3km/h leeway), and if you're above it, or it changes to a speed lower than your current speed, an alarm goes of that you silence by applying appropriate braking power.

I'm only interested in British routes so I'd never buy anything else plus we need more locos for the routes not extra routes

The Welsh class 150 have a ditial destination display compared to the Cornwall one with the roller destination display. The Koploper cab view shows the sprinter going the opposite way.

Hated driving the 153s from the little end, very cramped. Mum has declared she has a picture of a young me 🧸 standing next to a crocodile in the late 70s. Looking forward to the NS route, the cab height looks so weird 😮.

Dovetail are CHOMPING AT THE BIT to release Thomas, no surprise they are getting it out in under 3 months.

Yeah, its a cash grab for them.Meanwhile the GWE remaster is taking forever, but its free upgrade for a lot of people so no incentive i suppose.Or am i being cynical. 😂

Totally out of date before it was released. All the new Stadlers and electrification have rendered it redundant. 😅
