You pointed out my main problem with Tarkov, because of the audio stalking players/setting up ambushes is impossible and everybody can hear you make a single step from like 100 yards. The game incentivizes Shift+W gameplay with questionable features like faster ADS from sprint

@@randommcranderson5155 Yeah its always been like this honestly. Audio is wayyyy too strong in this game. Sneaking just means you literally sat still and didnt move for 5 mins until someone either walks right into you, or runs on by. There is almost no in between.

imo just think of it as a bump in the road, no roads are ever so smooth or so straight, eventually bsg will figure it out. it may not be the best game out there right now but i can easily think of more than 100 games that are faring far far worse than escape from tarkov is at the moment.

the game has a bug with the binaural audio option. everyone needs to turn it off, it causes a dual render of audio and for some reason it bugs out the entire game completely. turn it off and it is a million times better. im not 100% sure it will help in all cases but mine went from constant rubber banding and like 10 frames up to 4 days without rubber banding and about 40 frames. good luck to all in your raids.

I’ve stopped playing towards the end of last wipe and it sucks because I really love this game. But that same feeling I had in the middle of a fire fight is gone I’m not bad at the game I’m fairly decent and have been playing for a while. The reason why I stopped was because I’ve started to notice a majority of my deaths weren’t due to mindful mistakes or awareness issues, it’s literally from my game stuttering or im holding an angle because I hear steps and come to find out he’s right behind me, I’ve been getting “tarkoved” so much that it’s not laughable anymore😩. So that nervous feeling is skewed by the impending feeling that nakita will tarkov my ass.

I used to maintain a 70% SR years ago when I had like 400 hours in the game. With how the game is right now I'd be surprised if that ever happens again despite being far more experienced with over a 1000 hours. Now I usually see like 35-45% thanks to the bullshit.

10kd is a normal kd for someone who play a lot, scav kill count in the k/d so its really easy to have a good one

Stats in Tarkov don't really mean much. Very easy to have a good S/R and KD just by ratting or playing with a large squad, especially since Scav kills count. You can get insane stats just by playing in a group of 4+ players. If you avoid players and know the maps well enough to do so, you'll survive a lot. If you hunt players and play primarily for PVP, your S/R and KD will take a hit but you'd probably be a significantly better player.

Bro, that's the one redeeming social quality of games. Overall, video games (probably) end up doing a bit more harm than good for society (making men nore complacent, less willing to take real-world risks, less family time, etc), but seeing people form these kinda random points of respect and cooperation makes me feel a bit less bad about what games do otherwise. I think it might be a zero-sum gain, but i still think it's cool that you can make these random acquaintances with like-minded people. I enjoyed seeing that. Oh, and ISIAH CAN GET MERC'D! I have done the exact same thing. I have bought and extra 16GB of RAM so that I could play Streets. Lighthouse is now acceptable to play more aswell. Atleast my Tarkov doesn't crash every 2 raids now due to RAM leaks and limitations.

This game has such good bones that could be used to create an amazing game that is more accessible to everyone. I’m a self employed father of four boys who are homeschooled. I don’t have the time to play a game as punishing as this. I’m lucky if I get a couple of hours a week. I don’t regret purchasing a copy of this game because I love the attention to detail and the game mechanics implemented. I hope that once they are finished honing the online multiplayer that they work on some kind of single player experience.
