My only complaint about the Karashi is I think Megabass was a little lazy by using the same feathered treble hook on every color. You'd expect a company as detail oriented as Megabass would match the feather to the bait. I have a local fly guy tying feathers to match the bait colors.

Yeah, they really should have used different feather colors to match, but I think the hooks are good quality overall for such a tiny lure. I was impressed to not bend them out on 4 and 5 pounders.

Possibly, but it may interrupt the action. I've noticed a small split ring at the front helps with diving depth. Otherwise, you're waiting at least a 30 count to get 4ft deep

Question to all my bfs people. Can bfs replace my spinning rod? Thinking about getting into bfs. I only use my spinning rod for small swim baits and shakey heads and sometimes weightless plastics.

A stiffer BFS rod and finesse braid, maybe. I tend to use mine for micro baits

@@kingofanglers I’ve bought probably $2000 worth of megabass lures. I’ve caught one single bass on a popmax, that’s it. I’d rather grab just about any other manufacturer. Love megabass, looks great, can’t get a bite on it. I do better with duo and teckel
