Hey, thanks! I’d say the same about yours! I was gonna ask when you were posting again but I just saw your update!

Love the variety here! You’ve got several Advanced Arrows, several multi-directional signals, a doghouse with a flashing yellow arrow, a flashing yellow LEFT arrow signal, a rare two-aspect signal with an always-on green ball and a bicolor left arrow that comes on when necessary, a four-way flashing signal, a pedestrian signal with a countdown timer that flashes in time with the hand, a tram signal, and lots more! Truly an incredible setup right here! I particularly like the signal at 8:03 - it’s a very unique setup that I have NEVER seen until now! A standard red ball-yellow ball-green diagonal arrow setup on top, with a bicolor left arrow beneath it, and a dedicated red left arrow beneath that! From what I can tell, the purpose of that red arrow is to stop left-hand traffic only while allowing forward traffic to continue, since switching on the red ball to stop left-hand traffic would actually stop ALL traffic instead. And it’s even programmed to shut off when the yellow ball comes on, as the red ball will take over and initiate a full traffic stop shortly, so it’s not needed anymore. It’s a signal for a very niche situation-but one that’s well-designed and actually quite cool-looking!

Ive waited ages for this epic garage collection and I also noticed the UK style led button tone/sound has been changed and a few other controllers

Amazing, I love those Cobalt controllers also, I've never seen a pedestrian signal like those 18:04 wow!

Yeah! It’s from the 1940’s I believe!

@@Trafficlightsiosandmore I’ve gotten my signals from all over. A lot of older ones I picked up while travelling through the US. I’m in Canada though.

I have only one Eagle Durasig signal and I’m gonna try to have a set up like yours, but based on an American intersection.
@TheTrafficTech Жыл бұрын
Nice! That will look great I’m sure! I have more Durasig’s if you need em!

Nice! Really? Do you have a shop of some kind? Once I start making money I’d love to restore traffic signals as a hobby!
@TheTrafficTech Жыл бұрын
@@ryanphillips8562 yeah I do. And it’s a good hobby! I don’t do much for restoration but my displays and overstock are better than most towns!

Nice! I also have part of a McCain doghouse signal it has a yellow incandescent arrow with a green LED arrow. Where do I access or buy some other traffic lights/signals?
@TheTrafficTechАй бұрын
@@ryanphillips8562 your best bet would be FB marketplace or eBay! I have some parts I could sell to you as well, depending on what you’re looking for.

Have you had the chance to work with the EOS Cobalts yet? I've found some logic statements don't work the same as they did with ASC3 and Cobalts. Threw me through a loop.
@TheTrafficTech Жыл бұрын
Yeah I’ve been learning that recently. I just switched to EOS for all of our new Cobalt’s and it’s definitely a learning curve. Compatibility mode is gone so I’m trying out No Serve and moving around the ring structure to replicate what I had done with my ASC/3 Cobalt’s. We have some diamond interchanges with pretty complex phasing where I need to essentially relearn how to set up my ring structure and what my logic statements should say. I’ll likely have all my Cobalt’s upgraded to EOS eventually because I do like the new features and the architecture of the software but a lot of it is new to me since I can program an ASC/3 in my sleep.

What's that grinding whirring sound I hear every time the high pitched electronic beeps are heard?
@TheTrafficTech7 ай бұрын
There's a small motor on the bottom of that UK style pushbutton that turns when the walk sign is on.
@Lachlant19847 ай бұрын
@@TheTrafficTech OK, and what's the purpose of that please? Does it rotate a walk sign or rotate some electrical contacts or something?
