I had TT Deluxe back in the late 90's. Actually we had a copy on floppy and later a copy on CD, as far as I can remember anyway. Rediscovered Open TTD back in 2009 and very periodically play it to oblivion. Such a great game! Rollercoaster Tycoon also slaps.

Damn this video, making me want to resume playing the 4k by 4k Hokkaido scenario again. Which has also been getting worked on for several years.

Nice video, was amazed! Been playing since it came out here and there. Got it on My phone now while extra time. You got a really cool transport system. Gives Me ideas 😂 Ive just been playing larger scale. Maybe i try bigger stations and more passenger network. Just not Im trying to fix a few cities with passengers. Good system to connect many towns. Cool video*

@@Taitset Hehe You need more rail? 😃 I watched that video a few times but I have a different style. You use alot of tracks around cities but like You said in the video. You do it for fun not getting cash. You always earn cash anyway. Im to afraid to put railroad close to cities and want them to grew larger, but anyway they are growing. I do tunnels from stations. I downloaded a standard OpenTTD with alot to change "patched?" Not good with this things. Anyway I started. Normal cities, standard industries, low terrain, a few rivers and lake 2000x4000 map. Started from 1935, now its 1949. Choosed very slow time. Biggest city have 31.600 people, close city 27.000 and third around 17.000 people. The goods system is up from facory, sawmills, 14 years in game around 100 trycks, with buses and around 50 trains. 100.000.000 dollar yesterday when i Pushed in a 4trackX7lenght into the city for a sawmill project with 6 lines coming with wood. 7th track going into the city with goods. I think there is a little problem "I set the city grow to 'very fast'" its 1950 like tonight and the city has already exploaded 😃 Would love to send screenshots. This is like the perfect game and then around 1970 all airports faster trains You have to rethink Your plannings 30 years earlier. Hate the factories closing 🤣 Greets Fredrik Sweden.

maybe have a heritage route separate from the main lines to reduce congestion

Good network. Much, much larger than anything I've ever done in OpenTTD, although not as profitable as some of my best ones. Thanks for video.

what map generation did you use for this?
@Taitset2 жыл бұрын
It was a while ago, but pretty sure I just made with custom dimensions, then did a random landscape and a bunch of random towns and industries, then manually added more towns close together to make the cities.

Everything seemed pretty impressive until you just randomly said "and then we have the first train, which is nearly three thousand years old" WHAT THE HELL
@notoriousectotherm3 ай бұрын
That train is on life support- no, not even that, it is a relic of a time long past. Do you have to sacrifice tourists to it to keep it running? Does it run on blood?
