Hi from Australia and thank you for this. Beautiful landscapes. I have just finished watching the whole original series again. Loved it in the 80s and it hasn't lost any of its magic. Maybe I'll get to walk the dales there one day.

In Germany we know the serie as "Der Doktor und das liebe Vieh". Wonderful Characters and beautiful Landscape.🥰🤗

Many miles from from the nearest village I dropped Deryl off, drove away and back again to film the 'water splash' Deryl was slightly worried I might drive off and leave him there, as he had accidentally left our Nikon DSLR camera on a bus! We had to video it using an Samsung camera-phone! Luckily in this part of the world locals seem very honest, and luckily we managed to retrieve the camera, The school bus driver who kindly dropped us off to our car (having walked miles) actually returned the camera to The Yorkshire Shepherdesses house :)

Hi Thanks for the video, I’ll be up in the dales next week and I’ve got the villages on the makeshift tour. Could you tell me which road has that ford on driven through at the end ? Any info would be really appreciated Thanks Richard

Thanks for the comment. It was a few years ago but from memory I believe it was in Swaledale, between Reeth and Muker.

Quite right @davidfrost, well observed. However the intention was behind the location and theme music of the popular TV show in which he starred.
