Love a clean chassis, so many times you see so called "detailed" vehicles with dirty wheel wells and undercarriage. Nice job, I would recommend you get the rear wheels well rhino lined. I did that on mine. I also use Megs Hyper Dressing diluted for the frame. Looks brand new afterwards and doesn't attract too much dust.

Nice clean up. I bought my Raptor used and it came from up north Ohio. It was starting to rust underneath, so I had my buddy remove all the rust and clean it up; then painted the undercarriage. it looked brand new; I occasionally off road it so it's not exactly a pavement princess.

I’m personally not a fan of anything that taps into the computers and alters the performance of it although pedal commander is very well known and I’ve seen amazing reviews. Reducing the throttle lag to that level sounds like a ton of fun.

I got some stuff at Home Depot. It’s from Rust oleum and it’s about eight dollars a can spray paint it’s for the frame of a truck and it’s a rubberized harden coating. The stuff is not gonna come off the frame. You would have to grind it off. I’m a big fan

if you didn’t get it to pass, I was going to suggest you come on up to Oregon.😂 honestly I am not sure why there aren’t more automotive KZbin channels that are up here. Oregon is one of the few places that doesn’t have a sales tax so those KZbin channels that buy a new truck every year would save so much money! Another benefit is that your dollar, when it comes to housing goes a lot further when you sell your property in California. And if your home address is listed outside of Eugene Salem or the Portland metro area and is located in the countryside in the coastal towns, you don’t have to pass DEQ. Coos County is where I am looking to move down to in a couple of years myself.

Don’t know why the smog place gave you those “instructions”. The smog machine looks at how many stop/start cycles and how many miles were driven since the trouble codes were reset. Usually 20 miles is the minimum to pass since a reset. Some of the features the code reader is looking at to pass, aren’t required for your vehicle. On another note, their state is so bad with emissions requirements, companies won’t even ship tuners or other non smog legal items to this state. Even friggin gas cans can’t be shipped here. Also, the smog testing in California is “pass or don’t pay” in case you’re wondering.

After clearing the check engine light, you drive 100 miles. If you smog after clearing the light, you will fail smog since it lets the tech know it recently cleared
